For Sale << NiTE Tritium Glowrings >>

The New NITE Glowrings replaces the now discontinued Original and X2 Glowrings. The NITE Glowring is 48mm long and 10mm wide and is made of clear tinted Polycarbonate casing. Can be submersed underwater up to a depth of 30 meters.
Merkava DIY Tritium Glowrings - available in 6 c o l o r s
Clip them to your keys, attach them to your knife, gun, sports bag, cell phones, flashlights, light switch, pet collars, medication box, light pulls, fishing gear...in fact anything you'd need to get your hands on during the dark! Inside each NITE Glowring is a single sealed glass tube, which contains a minute amount of active gas that permanently reacts with a luminescent coating. The resulting light source will glow for 10 years and enables you to see the NITE Glowrings from 30 feet away in total darkness or a pitch black room.
Mum says it helps her to locate her keys in her handbag to the front door immediately and to see where the dog and cat are instead of tripping/stepping on them. They each have a glowring attached to their collar.
MINI REVIEW...
The Tritium vial is encased in a solid tinted Clean and CLEAR Hexagon shaped Polycarbonate block with a hollow centre where the tritium vial resides. I say solid b'cos I don't see any ultrasonically welded seam on the body. There is also a cap at the base of the NITE Glowring where the vial is inserted and then capped to prevent the tritium vial from falling off.
*Note: I have received some feedbacks that the cap/plug at the base of the glowring can come loose and the tritium vial will fall out. I'd advise that you add a little super glue around the cap to cement it to the body to prevent this from happening. The cap/plug is designed to be held onto the body by friction.
The inscription, "nite GlowRing" is molded on one side of the case and "illuminateLIFE on the opposite side.
The Red Nite Glowring is actually a Pink tritium tube encased in a Red shell. Looking at both the NITE and Original Pink Glowrings in the dark, the Red Nite glowring is "redder", probably due to the red shell than the Original Pink glowring which looks pale purple in fact. If you are looking for a Red Glowring, this is probably the closest you can get.
Conclusion: I am impressed with the Quality of the NITE Glowring. Those who own the Original and X2 Glowring will know what I mean when they get their NITE Glowring...the BEST looking GlowRing Ever!

I think that GBP 9.99 is "Great Britain Pounds" . . .
I don't know what the current dollar equivalent is at the moment.

Re: <<< NITE Tritium Glowrings >>>
Size of the old X1 glowrings.. approx. 53mm long and 15mm wide at the widest point.
Size of the old X2 glowrings.. approx. 48mm long and 11mm wide.
So, this new version is very similar in size to the old X2..
Is the polycarbonate clear like the X1 or coloured like the X2?

Re: <<< NITE Tritium Glowrings >>>
They are apparently tinted, but not like the X2. The X2's polycarbonate is slightly diffused which makes it translucent, but not transparent (other than the tint) like the newest version.
I'll have to see if there's any money left in my PayPal after buying the CPF Lionheart so I can get some of these.

Re: <<< NITE Tritium Glowrings >>>
no, not 10.50 usd....
they are GBP 9.50 each
the exchange rate is about double so it's approx 19 USD each ( 9.50 x 1.9283 = 18.84 )
) as mentioned earlier...

Re: <<< NITE Tritium Glowrings >>>
But the exchange rate changes all the time. I think you can PayPal in GBP and use PP's exchange rate.

Re: <<< NITE Tritium Glowrings >>>
The NITE Glowring is TINTED either blue, green or red. It is "CLEAR", as in see-thru, like looking thru glass. No drill marks or excess glue as in the X2 Glowring.
