GoingGear.com - Introducing the AAA iTP A3 EOS at $20! Black AND Natural!
iTP Light has just released a slick little AAA light, the A3 EOS. The A3 EOS comes in two different versions, standard and upgrade, both using a CREE XP-E Q5. The standard edition has one brightness at 80 lumens and the upgrade edition has three brightnesses. The best part? The standard edition is $18.50 and the upgrade edition is $20.50. No, that's not my cost, that's YOUR cost.
Both versions come with a pocket clip and a nice little keychain. I'm impressed with what they have done with this little light, and am excited to see what other people think about it.
I have all three versions IN STOCK.
I can put these in a bubble mailer and send them first class domestic or international, so shipping will be dirt cheap for you. Even better, spend over $49 and get free domestic shipping!
Don't forget about ggcpf10 for 10% off your order.

Re: GoingGear.com - Introducing the AAA iTP A3 EOS!
holy sh!t !!
At this price, things can't possibly get any better.
If the specs are reliable, this would pretty much make the good old Fenix E01 redundant.
But this would be even better if there's a Ti version! =D

Any chance for a Low > Med > High version?

Is there a possibility that we could get a picture of the business end?

Re: GoingGear.com - Introducing the AAA iTP A3 EOS!
Just ordered the upgrade version and another little gadget, I left instructions for them to hold the other item until the light is ready to ship.
Update this thread when the lights start to ship out please!?

I'll try to get some more pictures this weekend. I should have the standard version in stock next week and will update this thread for sure.
Regarding the brand, iTP and Olight are the same company. I'm not sure if one bought the other a while back, but they have been the same for as long as I have been a dealer.

Please confirm, does this means 3.7 (4.2v hot off charger) AW 10440 size rechargable lithium battery may be used, however, as it discharge on high generates a lot of heat for this little light to dissipate, it's use (or more then temporary use) on high is not recommended.
Best,
Linger
Yes, I noticed the Olight mark on the image too. I've got an iTP c9 and its square threading is the only way to go.

Re: GoingGear.com - Introducing the AAA iTP A3 EOS!
If you get the Med - Low - High version, a 10440 should work nicely without getting too hot on Med or Low, and High should work fine for a minute or so.

The circuit is rated for up to 3.0V, so a 3.7V 10440 is not recommended.

Re: GoingGear.com - Introducing the AAA iTP A3 EOS at $20! Cheap international shipp
Placed an order for a standard AAA! Since postage is so reasonable I may place a few more orders later as if this is as good as I think it is it'll make a great gift idea!
RE: Single setting: What a good option to have. No messing about with on and off - just full power and on when you need it and off when you don't.
Please let me know when you're shipping

How many of the upgraded version are you expecting to receive on the first shipment?

I'll have at least enough to cover the pre orders. If the pre orders go past the amount I have on order, I will update the item description and this thread, but I think I should still have enough extra for people that want them.

I'm not sure what you mean, exactly. Which products are you referring to?

Maratac 9290 AA & Maratac AAA Q5 (I assume this is identical to the iTP EOS AAA?).
Maratac seem to have a pretty good range of lights at a competitive price point to other manufacturers (e.g. Fenix).
edit: You know, I think I've found it. Maratac 9290 = ITP Light C7R ?

The EOS A3 is a bit different from the Maratac Q5, but they are comparable. The 9290 looks like it is the same as this light:
iTP C7T
There is also the R version of the C7 available, if you want a reverse switch, strobe, and SOS:
iTP C7R
iTP has a complete line of lights at pretty good prices. They all have adjustable brightness and great ergonomics. Here they all are, if you want to see them:
iTP Light flashlights

Re: GoingGear.com - Introducing the AAA iTP A3 EOS at $20! Cheap international shipp
That's great thanks, and also you've got a brilliant video on your site that runs through them all.
I'm quite tempted by the C7R although I still feel I need to do some research into Lithium cells first.
Thanks for being incredibly fast and on the ball with all my questions via the forum and the PM system.

Same as a Fenix LD01. Loosen and tighten to switch between modes.

Re: GoingGear.com - Introducing the AAA iTP A3 EOS at $20! Cheap international shipp
I will say if this new AAA iTP A3 EOS is as well made as my iTP C7 then it will be a winner. I like that there is a tachtical version sans SOS and strobe. Very happy with mine and the C8 body for 2xAA works well. I will be placing an order once the updated version comes in, perhaps I should pre-order before it runs out...
What does EOS stand for? I noticed VW has a car with that insignia, and I thought Canon has a Rebel XT EOS digital camera with that title as well.

They asked for help in naming their new light, so I suggested some mythology names. Eos is the Greek goddess of the dawn.
