These 16340, 18650, 2x18500 (pic above) and 2x18650 (above) bodies are for $urefire C head and C tailcap.

the 3P also known as 1x16340, SF C head and tail.

These bodies are CNC machined from high quality solid aluminum bar and aggresive knurling with 19mm bore to accept all 18500 and 18650 cells while outside diameter is same size as 9P shown in picture.
All bodies are black hard anodized with 2 o'rings (one at each side) and ready to use.
These Are FiveMega bodies in every sense. Designed and built to his High quality specs. Utilizing the very same metal shop. Proudly Made in the USA.
These bodies are specifically made to house Stock SF and LF Lamps and FiveMegas custom FM-D26 Bi-Pin socket/Reflectors (found here), and this new G4 D26 SUNLIGHT for $urefire and to use AWs new protected cells. they will also use 17mm Rechargeable and disposable cells as well. There is now extra room for those big LED drop-ins. These are built to fit AW's New Protected button top cellsand based on reviews, have plenty of room to spare for off brand cells as well. All single cell sizes are now available in round, or with SF style flats milled into the sides like previous FM bodies.

IMHO: If you want to use a FM D26 drop in do it in a FiveMega body, you wont need steel washers (needed on my LEEF body) or have any contact problems. There is plenty of room for long springs, button tops and protection circuits. No more crushed springs. Prices are low!

(Head, lamp assembly, tail cap and batteries are not included, but are available here.)

Advantage of 18mm cells are longer run time, less frequent recharge, less stress to cells, longer cell life and higher current capability compare to 17mm cells while you don't have to carry an oversized and heavy flashlight.

For AWs new IMR16340 cells, a TiNY 3P single cell is being offered at very slim profit. the 1x16340 is a "SF 3P" it will hold AW 16340 LiMn or Li-Ion RCR123 sized cells.

Single 18500 is only 17mm (5/8") longer than 16340 but well over twice the capacity.

You have at your option...the choice of adding INSURANCE to any order.
Its inspected and packed well, but not insured, then we cant be held responsible for damage in transit to you.
As of now I have a NEW SHIPPER who Packs everything like glass crystal. They are inspected when they arrived, and again when shipping out.
I do not know why more people do not choose an insured method of transit for only 3$ more. (3$ USA only)
If the box or package arrives so mangled or bashed that the paint or metal is damaged that is totally beyond my control.
In the past we werent aware that post offices can destroy even a solid metal flashlight body. Well they do sometimes. I dont know how

UPDATE: If your going to use a IMR 18650x2 setup I also offer the same head plus a twisty tailcap for less..so 49$ additional for a Head and a twisty 9P tailcap which can survive 2x18650 IMR cells..a Z-59 will burn out in a few seconds if used with 2 big 18650 IMR cells. This is not the case with a single 16340 IMR,

If you dont want too use a twisty and want a clicky with IMR 18650x2 like the Z59 do that, but add the AW soft Start switch upgrade.

Don't let your kids play with these. Lights will be bright enough to damage eyes or burn houses down, do not leave your light on unattended. Do not charge cells unattended. Use only protected cells.
Do not let your friends play with these, the first thing they will do is shine it in your face or their own, by accident

All lithium based batteries have an max. operating temp. of 60 degree C. You will find the same operating temp. spec. on Emoli, A123, Sanyo, Samsung batteries with LiCo / LiFePO4 / LiMn chemistries. A safety vent / mechanical thermal protection is a standard feature of all AW branded lithium secondary batteries.

The IMR cells will not reach above 60 degree C even when discharged @ 8 - 10C by themselves. The heat from outside sources such as lamp, lamp assembly spring contact or flashlight body is something you may have to consider when using them in a high power incan light that will generate tremendous amount of heat.

In a lab regulated oven test, the safety disconnect triggers at 80 degree C after 3 minutes. The vent opens at 100 degree C after 5 minutes.

The storage temperature range of -20 to 25 degree C ( 40% charged ) is the optimum where you 'll recover 90+% capacity after 1 year of storage. Storing at 40 degree C will get you ~80% capacity after 1 year. At 60 degree C, you 'll get ~70% after 1 year.

well yes there is...any body, with correct matching extension will run 3x18500

My favorite is a round 18500 plus a 102mm extension for 3x18500.

Hi,

I bought a Fivemega 3P body from Lighthound, and am using a Surefire 6P bezel and Z59 tailcap. I have various P60 drop-in modules for this light, however, i have noticed that i am unable to screw the bezel down fully when using a Malkoff M30 and Dereelight 3SD R2 P60 module. In your thread you mention that these bodies are now designed to take the larger LED modules. Therefore, if i buy a 18650 body and 3P body will i have any problems in screwing the bezels all the way down using these modules?
