Turn Off Memory (TOM)

The LiteFlux LF2X has a unique design in its software code. i personally called it Turn Off Memory (TOM). TOM remember the last operating mode before the light is turn off. the next time the user turns on the light, it will turn on in the last operating mode (i.e. previous mode).

for example, if you use your LF2 mainly as strobe light or SOS, you do not need to go through the process of selecting strobe or SOS again everytime you turn it on.

more photos can be found in the LiteFlux LF2 questions, feedback & suggestion thread (page 9 post#246 by netkidz & page 10 post#293 by phrozen)

Stock availability : shipping on the 20th February.

Shipping time : 7 - 14 days.

Price & Payment:

US$60.00 each set. shipped worldwide via registered airmail.

i am unable to offer a significant discount on the LF2X as production cost for the LF2X is much higher than the LiteFlux LF2.

the cost increased are due to
1. the higher grade of aluminium alloy used in the LF2X to achieve uniformed/even NATURAL HA III finishing.

2. the bezel, head and body exterior is machined to a glossy/shinny finish to achieve the glossy NATURAL HA III look.

3. the bezel, head & body of each LF2X is hand picked to achieved a consistent NATURAL HA III colour. it is unlikely that you will get any mismatch at all.

4. the clip and stainless steel neck chain design.

5. a specially designed circuit board to mounted the CREE Q5 LED using re-flow soldering. this board also enhanced the heat transfer of the Q5 emitter to the head/body.

However in the spirit of CPF, i will include a Energizer Lithium primary AAA (L92)

Cash Paypal to teckkiat@hotmail.com
1 set - US$60.00

Credit card Paypal to teckkiat@pd.jaring.my
1 set - US$62.50

Paypal Name : Khoo Teck Kiat

Please state clearly your order quantity, CPF ID, name & address.

By default, All orders are shipped with the gift box.

I will test each light for tint and check for the relevant accessories before they go out.

Thank you for your support.
Khoo

Thumbs up Re: LiteFlux LF2X & LF2X-BA for sale (Part 2)

Hi Khoo,
My LF2X arrived about a week ago. Very nice light and it exudes quality! The HAIII finish is beautiful and smooth high polish. Reminds me of the ARC LS finish. The threads are very smooth as well. Takes a while to understand and master the UI but then the logic begins to make sense. Funny thing is after using it for a while and setting it up the way I thought I wanted it I went back to the factory presets of 15% and 50%. I keep the user adjustable mode at the minimum setting as it produces a very discreet low.

Beam and tint are very good as well. It has a full hot spot and transitions evenly to side spill. Thought it was a seoul at first it was so smooth! Tint leans toward warm and is probably the best overall I have seen for true color rendition. BTW; that diffuser is handy as can be. I have always bounced light off the most reflective surface for general illumination. The diffuser will spoil you it does such a good job. No need for a lantern. This is my first Liteflux it will not be my last!

Thanks Khoo!
Toons

PS: Does anyone know if you do a factory reset does battery protection default on/ off or no change from previous setting? TIA!

i have my lf2x, but have not received my lf5 yet. i'm afraid it's lost in the mail. i don't keep up with my hobby tight enough to be on top of a lost item till it's been a few weeks.

as far as the aaa light, i am having fustrations learning the ui. i love the potential, but for the moment i'm wishing for three preset modes. i did a youtube search and watched that video, but its not all inclusive. it did not tell me how to scroll up the brightness level, only that once you do it the first time, it starts to scroll down. now i know you gotta do sw*2 again. how do i set the first two modes for my presets. i think i want p2 to be a nice high setting, probably 80%, and bump low up a little bit to maybe 30-50%. if someone can help me master this that'd be awesome.

sorry my feedback isn't more chipper. i do like the quality, the potential and the 10440 brightness once i get it to high. thanks,
jason

When in doubt I always go back to this old post by LEDCool which IMO is still the clearest.

I loved my LF2X - bright, intuitive, and quality feel - but it died spontaneously recently. Worked one night, stopped working the next. I've tried different batteries so I think something in the pill stopped working.

Can a replacement head be bought? What are my options?

Thanks!

hello glyphin,

please try to take out the 2 stage switch assembly by inserting a very sharp tweezer into the the two tiny holes found on the 2 stage switch. turn anti-clockwise to loosen and take out the switch. soak the switch in alcohol and at the same time press the switch a few times to loosen any dirt in it.
dry the switch and re-install.

hopes this helps, if not then please return the light (head and body) to me for repair or replacement.

regards,
khoo

Hi Khoo,

I've come very close recently to purchasing a LF2X. One thing that stopped me from doing it, is that it's been in existence for a while now, and I recently read that an updated Fenix LOD is in the works.

Just wondering if Liteflux is planning a new AAA EDC.

Thanks for reading!

Hello Bimmerboy,

as far as i know, LiteFlux has no plans to upgrade the LF2X.
my personal opinion is that the LF2X

1) is already using a Q5 CREE LED and R2 bin is hard to come by.

2) has its driver designed for alkaline, NIMH and 10440 Li-Ion.

3) has NIMH & 10440 over discharge protection built-into the light.

4) has battery voltage report feature and very high PWM with no flickering at all output level.

5) has two user programmable output (SWx1) plus a third user adjustable output (SWx2).

6) allows the user to skip the two programmable strobe (SWx3) and SOS (SWx4) feature.

7) includes a flat bottom detachable pocket clip and a stainless steel ball chain with quick detachment for neck carry.

8) includes a snap-on diffuser.

9) includes 3 spare o-rings and a small container of o-ring lubricant.

10) comes in a nice wooden gift box.

the LF2X pretty much covers every functions, features and accessories that a normal user can think of and it is the only programmable Q5 LED AAA EDC light in the market today.

i know this sounds like a sales pitch (it is!), but i can't think of any more features/functions that one can add to the LF2X. the LF2X is a highly advance EDC flashlight that requires users to spend time and patience to learn its user interface.

the LF2X is the most flexible and versatile AAA light!

thank you for your interest in the LF2X and i hope i can be of service to you in the future.

thanks.
khoo

hope to

Pretty much what I figured. But, after reviewing everything that attracted me to the LF2X in the first place, I'll be getting one, updated LOD or not. This thing is one seriously cool little light.

Worse comes to worse, I can always employ the CPF motto. We all know what that is, right?

Thanks for the answers, Khoo!
