Default Arc parts for sale. Many parts (price drops)

Hi all,

I have quite a few arc parts for sale.
All of these parts are bare aluminum unless otherwise noted. Some still have chemkote, but can be polished off. Some are polished, but please don’t ask for a polished one. No kroll included unless otherwise noted.

Head pack combo
Each combo will include:

Arc LS Rev 2 empty head (I have hand-polished these heads until they are shiny)
Arc LS 123 twisty pack
Arc LS 123 TSP (no kroll)
Arc LS 2AA TSP (no Kroll)
All the necessary O-rings

(1) Arc LS Rev 2 combo ………. $57
(2) Arc LS Rev 2 combo ………. $57
(3) Arc LS Rev 2 combo ………. $57
(4) Arc LS Rev 2 combo ………. $57

Individual packs
I also have the following:
2AA clicky pack
CR123 Twisty pack
CR123 Clicky pack

Pricing for packs:
$7 each.

An Example of what you can do with these parts:

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/...d.php?t=206468

Term of sale

Please post here what you want (if you want the combo, also post the number), then PM me. I will then let you know that the items you want are still available and the PP address where you can send payment. As usual, first “I’ll take it” has first dibs. Payment is expected within 24 hours of my pm reply, after which the dibs is removed.

Example:

“I’ll take it” (2) Arc LS Rev 2 Combo and 2 CR123 clicky pack.

I am willing to trade for other lights, please pm for offer. Do not use “I’ll take it” if you are going to make offer for a trade.

Here are some example of items that I am looking for:
Surefire new KX2 Cree dual output
Aleph parts
Mcluxes (especially PD)
used/dead Arc AAA or AA (especially heads). I lost mine.
Modding supplies like LED (Cree MCE, XR-E), heatsinks (PTS and such), Reflectors (McR16 and up, Mag OP), etc
Arctic alumina epoxy (new please)
CR123 batteries

Quantity discount available. Trade + cash is also possible. Any reasonable offer will be considered.

Shipping term:
Please add $3 for shipping in the US.
Purchase above $25 can be shipped free to anywhere in the US.
I will ship to outside US as well, but I ask that you cover the shipping.

I accept payment by paypal (cash or CC funded payment +4%), MO and personal checks will have to wait until it is cleared.

I will not be responsible for the item after it leaves my hand.

Thanks for looking

Shifty, are those 123 clicky tails the ones with the deep diamond knurling?

I don't either!
From the pics, those *look like* the deep diamond pattern TSP's, but I'm not 100% sure.

It does look hard to tell.

Shiftd, in your pic does the knurling on the 1x123 TSP look the same as the tails to the left of them? If yes then it's the flat knurling.

Here's some pics:

Coarse diamond knurling:

Darkzero,

Yes, I checked the ones I have and I think all of them are the flat ones. I have never seen one with coarse diamond knurling before until I saw your picture.

Are the heads and bodies made from the same material?
I can see that the heads are alodyne.
I ask because it is extremely important to me that they are the same material. It is easy to send them to the plating shop and get the same finish on them if they are. But if they are not the same material they will not match. To go through the effort to have parts finished and to not have them match is a tough pill to swallow
I define material as alloy. The question is are all of the parts in the kit made from the same aluminum alloy?
Thank you very much.

Yaesumofo
I've had two of these so far. As far as I know it's from Arc but I'm not for sure & I don't know anything else about them. I never suspected them as being aftermarket cause back then no one really made any aftermarket Arc parts other than Roth. I figured they were just another variation since there were so many variations in TSPs & twisties. First one I had was back in late 2003. I waited around to see if there was ever a head with coarse knurling but to this day I never saw one. The second one I got from CY maybe a month or two ago.

Hi Yaesumofo,

I apologize that I missed your question earlier, I only saw your post with the quote on it.

To be honest, I am not sure if the head and/or the packs are all made from the same aluminum alloy. The head itself is aluminum, and the chemkote on the outside can be polished off to show a silverish color of an aluminum. I have done this a number of times.
So to answer your question, I don't know if they are made from the same material.

Thanks.
For the record. If these are from the same batch of parts I had a bunch of The goldie heads were a different alloy from the bodies. This caused me no end of problems when I went to anodize them..

Yaesumofo,

Is there a way to tell if these parts are from different/same alloy or one can only see the difference after the parts are anodized?

Honestly, I cannot tell the difference between the packs and the heads once I polish them.

Are there any E-series heads-Arc-LS tailcap bodies available.

What I am trying to say is the part that joins the Arc-LS tailcap with an E-series head. The middle section.

Please let me know.

BTW- Nice looking light darkzero

Thanks!
