Looks nice, but what changes were made that affected the length? Looks to be about 10mm longer than the original version.
And yes, that DBS looks very nice!!

Hi, jsr,
The length of the battery tuber lengthened, the High/Low shift of the old version drived by the battery, this caused the hurt on battery; so we solved this issue, the High/Low switch not concerned to the battery.
I will add pictures show the changes...
Thanks for your attention.
Best regards
Alan.

Re: For Sale Now! Updated Dereelight-CL1H 2.0!!!
Funny thing, the initial (pre-order i suppose?) price on supertactical.com for the DBS was $85 when they only has the CAD render of the product.
Now that they it's updated with the actual item, the price got bumped to $102...

Re: For Sale Now! Updated Dereelight-CL1H 2.0!!!
First of all, my original CL1H is my favorite "midsize" flashlight.
But I have a few questions about this new version:
- If I read correctly, there's a $5 discount for buyers of the original version, correct? If so, what sort of proof do you need?
- When do you expect to have the Dark Gray ones available again?
- The group photo shows a glow-in-the-dark switch cover; is that included, or can I buy one separately? Any other colors available, such as orange or red?
Thanks!!

Hi, Gryffin,
We have a record shows you have purchased our old version, so if you buy another one, the $5 discount is correct, need pay $56. and then you can get new reliable switch module+ new SSC reflector + GID switch cover, they are free.
The dark grey still not available now, and we only have the green GID cover.
Thanks and best regards.

Lux reading 1m:
Version 1.0 witch Cree smooth reflector --->3300 Lux, test by whc on CPF.
Version 1.0 witch SSC smooth reflector --->2500 Lux, test by whc on CPF.
Version 2.0 with Cree Smooth reflector---->about 7000 Lux
Version 2.0 with Cree OP reflector--------->about 5000 Lux
|
Impressive improvement!! The OP reflector has a nice beam, too.
However:

"Cancel"? Does this mean the SSC version is no longer available?
The Cree output is impressive, but I really like the focusability of the SSC. Too bad you haven't improved the output of the SSC module the way you have with the Cree module!

Can't we order a CL1H with the smooth reflector instead of OP, or is the smooth reflector *only* available separately?

Re: Dereelight-CL1H 2.0, more bright, more focus, But compact.
Hi, Gryffin,
Thanks for your attentions and support.
We think the focusability of the SSC module not easy improved at this size, maybe can improved by increase the size.
Now can order CL1H with any reflector, SMO or OP, same price, or can add US$3.5 for both.
The Dark grey version is unstable of anodic oxidation, So we need time to solve these problem.
Thanks and best regards.

Are you going to offer just the Cree OP reflector for the Dereelight V1.0?

Hi, rookie,
unfortunate, We have considered compatible with the V1.0, But impossible, we almost redesign this module.
To upgrade the Cree drop in module, it's a good solution to replace with our 5-modes Cree module, and it is not harmful to you battery anymore.
Thanks for your attentions.

Alan,
As stated in an e-mail I sent you this evening, I contacted both of the CPF members whom you stated might have received my light. Neither of the two got more than they ordered. I have read several good comments regarding your customer service, so I'm sure that you will ensure that I get the light and 2 LED modules that I paid for.
Thanks very much for your help... Can't wait to get this light!!!

Re: Dereelight-CL1H 2.0, more bright, more focus, But compact.
Alan,
I have a couple of questions.
1) Why would you give my personal information, name, address and phone number to another person without my permission? Nobody in business should do such a thing. You had the information and if you had questions, you should have contacted me instead of running Shawn in circles. EDIT ANSWER: I am very sorry share you personal info to others without you permisson, this my mistakes, very sorry.
2) Didn't I sign for the flashlight I paid for and received? If you sent a flashlight to the wrong address you should be able to check to see who received and signed for too many flashlights.
3) If another flashlight is delivered to my house, what do you want me to do? Refuse delivery and have it sent back to you? Do you expect me to forward the light to Shawn at his word and my expense?
I expect you to step up to the plate, let us know what you would like us to do if I someone receives the extra flashlight, and make things right for Shawn. The one thing I am thankful for is that the person you shared my personal info with seems to be a very polite and considerate individual. EDIT ANSWER: Very sorry, just check you order, it is no mistakes to you order, you can recieve you light nomally. it is our mistakes, I should not provide you info to others. very sorry to you!!!
Terry
EDIT: I did receive my flashlight just fine and that was never the issue here. I was asked by Alan to edit my post with his quotes which I have done here. If by some mistake I receive a second flashlight in error, I will refuse the light and have it returned to Dereelight, but I don't believe there is another on the way to me. Again, Shawn is short his flashlight and was calling to see if had been sent to me in error. He was very polite and I wish he had not gotten the initial run-around. It sounds like all will be resolved and I hope Shawn can post his success story here soon. I, in turn, should probably never post to this forum before 10:00 am. Best regards to all.
