Re: LF2XT Q4, Tritium Buttons, Sapphire Glass, Titanium Tube
Steve,
Any progress on getting the O-ring problem solved for those of us that have poorly fitting parts?
..I have access to quite a few O-rings and can't find ANY that will work.
After crunching the numbers I'm worried that this problem may be more serious than first thought.

Re: LF2XT Q4, Tritium Buttons, Sapphire Glass, Titanium Tube
O-rings for 2XTi Run #2 have been secured. However I only have enough on hand for one per tube. I will mail out one for each tube Monday or Tuesday the latest. I will mail out more when the rest of the o-rings arrive.

Re: LF2XT Q4, Tritium Buttons, Sapphire Glass, Titanium Tube
i have a really crappy temporary fix that i did. i took a spare o-ring to a Fenix LOD, wrapped it around a random socket on an extension arm, and sanded it down (rotating the arm/socket/o-ring as i sanded) until the light accepted it. the o-ring looks like hell, but with lube it provides more of a seal than with the 2XT stock o-ring does.
i received my straight krytox from tekno cowboy. i really hope these new o-rings fit.

Working on it! There's some background stuff I have to get out of the way first before I can proceed.

I like the design #1 and #4 most. But I hope the design for run #3 will not differ to much from the design of #2 which I like very much..

#1 or #5. As I have a Ti LF2XT from the first run, I´d like more to be able to enjoy these lights

Re: LF2XT Q4, Tritium Buttons, Sapphire Glass, Titanium Tube
hey Steve, what size are these tritium vials you used along side your emitter?...
EDIT: i think there's only one size available now; neverminds.
i think you convinced me to do the same thing with my non-Ti 2XT. i'm going to do it in green.
EDIT: i wonder, does the aspherical lens come with a sleeve to make up the difference of the reflector, or do you still use the reflector in there? i wonder if i'll have to epoxy my aspherical lens in or make my own sleeve.

1.5mm x 5mm. The light in the picture is a mini that was designed to use the aspheric in the first place. That is also a PC aspheric, not sapphire. If you have access to a drill press, you can drill out the reflector and use that as a sleeve to use the aspheric in a regular head. Email me if you need a reflector.

cool! i'm leaving my 2XTi EDC as is, but my natural 2XT is my nightstand light; that one's getting the tritium/aspheric treatment. i'll have to order those vials when B@rt's back. good stuff! thanks!

No they are for sealing the head to the battery tube.
If your light goes out after screwing in the pill, your pill is on too tight.

Steve,
Received my Ti tube this past Tuesday. It's freakin' beautiful... even more so than in pictures. Gorgeous little piece. Thanks again for the excellent customer service!

Re: LF2XT Q4, Tritium Buttons, Sapphire Glass, Titanium Tube
Is there any possibility of being able to just buy the Ti knurled head tube. I have a Ti 2XT from the first run with the completely smooth head tube but would really prefer the knurled version. Please say yes and give me a price, thanks.

I'll be happy to take the 1st run tube off you if it's in good condition. I personally like that design very much.

Re: LF2XT Q4 Titanium Presale
I like LF2XT and I'd like to have in Ti with other top options. But this very design is absolutely not mine.
Is there any chance to have the less agressive one ever?
