FS: Titanium Straws
I'll be making them all about 9" from now on.
I have these in stock again.
Up for sale are titanium straws, ranging in length from 8.5" to 9". They are made from 5/16" x .035" tubing. The Flame-colored ones didn't turn out as nice as I would have liked, but they're gone already anyways.

Price is $20+shipping
Do NOT send payment as "payment owed"/no fee when using paypal! If payment is sent this way, there's a good chance I won't notice I havn't shipped your order until you send me a PM to remind me.
Shipping is by Priority Mail only. Price of shipping is $5 CONUS, $10 Canada/Mexico, $13 International
Delivery confirmation is included. Insurance will not be available. I am no longer liable for orders once I hand the package over to the Postal Worker. (though I might still give a refund under some circumstances if the package doesn't show up.)
I will not sharpen the end(s) as it is illegal in some areas.
Please post if you want one in this thread, and send me a pm with your paypal email, so I can send you an invoice.
Disclaimer:
I can not be held responsible for any harm caused by these straws after I have shipped them. Also, you should wash the straws before use. I do my best to clean them up, but there is always a chance I may have missed something, and it's better to err on the side of safety. Harm caused by not properly cleaning the straw before use falls under the first statement, and I can not be held responsible.

Re: FS: Titanium Straws
I plan to keep one in my POS Blazer for all the milkshakes I buy. The cheap plastic ones they give you never hold up.
I'm thinking I might flame-color a couple of them too, just for kicks.

Re: FS: Titanium Straws
Very cool! I actually have some Ti tubing (smaller in diameter and length though), but have been unsure if it is safe to use in the fashion. Do you do anything special to the interior to make it safe to drink with, or are they just good to go the way they are?

Re: FS: Titanium Straws
I washed it well before I used it, with dishsoap and a tube brush. Titanium is normally pretty safe for use. A good example is that they use Ti for joint replacements.

Re: FS: Titanium Straws
apache119, you need more posts before you can send PM's. Just browse around and comment on a couple of threads, and you should be able to send it out.

Re: FS: Titanium Straws
Do you have any of the full 9" straws left? If so, I will take one.

Re: FS: Titanium Straws
I don't think any of them were a full 9", I just made them between 8.5" and 9", so I wouldn't have to take the time to get them an exact length. I'll measure the longer ones in the morning, if you'd be interested in something close.

Re: FS: Titanium Straws
Duh, dummy me for asking but, what's the difference between a Ti TUBE and a Ti STRAW??? The length.....? Are the ends polished/rounded so one doesn't lacerate one's tongue in their use??? I might be interested but had to know the details!

Re: FS: Titanium Straws
The straws are just tubing cut-down and given a brushed metal finish, with beveled (inside and out) ends, to prevent any unwanted tongue laceration.
