hi AW,
i don`t want do be the bad guy but these battery holsters are only good for people that live in dry countrys ;-).
in germany or other countrys there is sometimes a little rain.
a battery holster that is not protecting against rain/water is not a good thing on a dutybelt. i carry my 2 spare lithium battery`s in a small waterproof case that i carry in a small holster next to my flashlight.

Hi Christian,
The waterproof nylon provides reasonable shield from rain/show but it won't be dunkable. The whole idea from the design is for quick / easy access to your spare batteries with a single hand while leaving the other hand for more critical tasks.

Honestly though, I think they are quite cool for keeping the batts together and isolated from each other. Belt carry isn't my style anyway

if you were worried about keeping them dry with this you could always put them in those itty bitty ziploc bags and then slip em in the holder. I like it for the ease of the case to be carried on a belt instead of my pocket. it looks like I might beable to put it on my Maxpedition fatboy with a piece of velcro.
