Are these meant for Airsoft stuf, or could it handle the repeated heavy recoil of an AK-47?

I'd like to recommend it for Airsoft use only, as I don't have an AK-47 for testing.

The other sight is on Ebay right now and is going for a decent price. If I get enough money for it I might order one of these sights. Its either going to be one of these sights or one of your regulated 3w flashlights, or both if I have enough money when the time comes.

I did a bit of checking and the LR44 battery is 11.6mm x 5.4mm, while the battery a real Aimpoint M2/ML2 uses is the DL1/3N which has the dimensions of 11.6mm x10.8mm, this means that the pair of LR44 alkalines could be replaced by the DL1/3N lithium for a longer runtime and more consistent brightness level. Recieved the sight today. VERY nice little sight so far. It has a gorgeous flat black ano that makes me drool. One thing that surprised me is the reticle, its not a dot, its a crosshairs with dot like the one in the bottom right here.



I'm not complaining, I just wasnt expecting that at all. Its very bright and doesnt wash out in the sun, so it will be something a bit different than the typical Aimpoint clones. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

The new mounting ring should be here this week, so hopefully I can see how tough the sight pretty soon.
