Well, this took long enough. Life's been busy the past few weeks since I gave away free samples of my TiTi Twister titanium thread lubes, but I finally stitched together enough spare minutes to mix up a batch of TiTi Twister II to sell. I developed this lube over the past few years, partly as a hobby and partly to solve the very real problem of nasty gritty threads on my collection of titanium flashlights. TiTi Twister represents the culmination of my efforts to date.
For those who didn't follow my giveaway/feedback thread on the main forum, TiTi Twister is a series of lubes made from oil gelled with Teflon, with molybdenum di-sulfide added as a sliding agent to keep titanium threads from chattering, galling, and grinding off little bits of themselves. Version 1 (left) uses hydrocarbon oil, and Version 2 (right) uses DuPont Krytox fluorocarbon oil. Version 1 works better on really stubborn Ti threads, but Version 2 is more user-friendly and was more popular during testing, so Version 2 is what I'm selling in this thread.
Here's the product:
Each unit contains 3cc of TiTi Twister II (which lasts a surprisingly long time), packaged in a syringe for easy application, and has a screw cap for secure re-sealing. They cost $16 apiece including USPS flat-rate shipping to CONUS, or $11 plus the cost of international shipping. Please place your orders via PM, or at fyrstormer (at) gmail (dot) com.
