Pretty damn impressive, but i don't like the last part with the tiny steps and the tubular section... What about wind...
This tower is "slightly" higher than one i climbed a few times over 20 years ago, though his had the advantage of having stairs for a good portion of the way up, mine didn't, it was a truss structure, but it offered good grabbing. I would guess he maybe makes a salary equivalent of a crane operator, then maybe not... But if he does he most likely makes a good salary.
Crane operators often have to climb up in sh***y weather and in temperatures several tens of degrees under zero here, i think i remember there is a maximum wind speed at which they will not go up (same thing for workers working on the face of buildings or with Fraco) but it is not often that they don't go up, most of the times the cranes here operate almost everyday in our Canadian winters. They are very well paid.
