I just noticed that its actually RATED for impact. Most of the lights out there are only rated for water resistance.

    Xtar's stepping up the game.

It does have springs in both the head and the tail. It is a surprisingly nice light and with two battery tubes is very versatile and can be customized for the specific application.

    That's awesome!

I see it has a low low too...and a very floody beam, so the low will be really useful...I like it.

Its current regulated, does 820 lumens off a single 18650...even for a turbo, that's damn impressive! does it drop off for heat control after a while?

Manufacturer specs do not indicate any drop off. My informal testing I was unable to discern any drop off

Holy crap, that makes its 820 lumens on high, on a single 18650, about the brightest one in that class!

Even running on TWO RCR123's, the XT11 only hit 850 Lumen for a while! And this one runs a long time to boot.

On RCR123's, the XT11 only runs ~ 1/2 hr or so.
