I just placed another Nichia 219 order for an M61 and M61LL but forgot to add my CPF name.

I've been wanting for a long time to buy a MD2 with the two-speed ring, and a MD3 body and spare MD2 head, but these are often hard to come by all at once. A new Malkoff light engine and something a little different, the Nichia M61 219, gives me a bunch of great reasons to place an order. (Edit: My order is 1621.)

Just to confirm because I likely forgot to specify this in my order notes but I'm looking for the M61 219 full output module.

Getting test results from Gene! he is very impressed with these Dropins

they are putting out over 235 OTF from the dropin alone, so I will be rating them for 200 OTF (after losses from the window) for the M61 Craig

Nice! If the M61 219 is doing 200 OTF, then the M61L 219 should have around 120 OTF lumens. Can't wait to get my hands on this puppy! I have a feeling I'm going to have to order a full power M61 219 down the road.....

That looks superb... a little floodier than XPG but that color is outstanding... Now I gotta re-mix all my lego... and put together bored and black C2 for my incoming M61-219...

Sad on the other hand as it makes my other M61's almost obsolete... :-)

The 219 beam looks fantastic. Well done Gene and thanks Craig for making this happen.

I might have to pick up a 219 LL or LLL real soon now in addition to the 219 I already bought. For the lower output lights a more floodier beam is better for my purposes.

The venerable M61 XP-G still has a place in my SureFire and Malkoff hosts, assuming it still maintains something of a throw advantage over the M61 219.

Craig - I saw your comment over on CPF proper about the 219 being in stock, which I expected given the photo of all those lovely light engines above. I understand and approve of holding on to my order until the rest of the items come into stock. Do you have any idea as to the delivery time frame for the MD2 w hi/lo, and MD3 bodies / MD2 heads?

right now we're waiting on a few lens kits to get in stock - they should all be shipping out late next week.
