Any chance they'll be a model w/o the strobe mode in the UI? Unless it's "hidden" from the normal UI, it's a deal breaker for me.

Yeah, I never have a problem not hitting strobe with it...I just use high pretty much as well. As it comes on in whatever you last used it at...you don't accidentally hit strobe...unless you last USED strobe, etc.
My wife has seizures if the strobe went off, so, I have a vested interest in avoiding strobe on lights she might be around.
Lights that ARE a problem to avoid strobe, I take out of that rotation so I DON'T send her into seizures.
The Crelant is not a problem to avoid strobe, so its fine.
Thanks for the info re: strobe guys..

Not a lot to tell about an Aspheric. Basically just a lens.
I will have some photo's Sunday night or Monday. I am also getting the products as soon as they are available. I have some poorly written specs but there are several mistakes so I will not publish them until I have them corrected. Selfbuilt will be receiving a production sample and I am sure he will supplement his review

I'm going to be purchasing my first Aspheric soon, so I'm looking forward to seeing what this one can do.
Images and pricing on my web site now.
Ordering will be allowed once it actually hits the shop ( I don't like pre orders, too much disappointment on missed deadlines). Crelant claims 700meters.

Thanks a lot madecov!! The current price looks great, I was expecting over fifty bucks honestly and this is a pleasant surprise!
Looking for: MC-E Malkoff modules and/or Surefire Kroma MILSPEC.
Holy Crap! That IS a good deal!
That collimator head LOOKS like a quality piece of work in the pic at least....it looks like they did a great job with it. I was afraid it might be some cheezy snap on thing, but this looks like the real deal....and the price is a nice surprise as well!

I'm excited!!! I'll order once I get the green light. I'll put mines up as soon as I get it. Haven't seen a solid night shot other than from Hank. I'd like to see some comparison against the original head.
Wow, 138 Lumens on low? Guess this one isn't going to a map reading light! Looks interesting, looking forward to a review!
