Default ACR FRS/MS-2000M Military Light Marker (Signal Strobe) *Price Drop*

Carried by NATO forces and Combat Search and Rescue (C-SAR).

Sometimes referred to as the Firefly.

For distress, search and rescue, as a marker, etc.

I carried it on backpacking trips.

It has an infrared shield to keep your location hidden while still being visible to friendly forces with night vision goggles, and a separate blue filter to distinguish it from ground fire.

Operates on 2 AA batteries for up to 8 hours. Fifty (+/- 10) 250,000 lumen flashes per minute.

A few light scuffs but overall very nice condition. I always had it wrapped in some form of clothing.

*was $80 plus $6 for shipping and delivery confirmation.*
    Now $70 shipped.

I would prefer a Postal money order, but I will take PayPal (I can only ship to a verified address).

No manufacturer date that I can see.

You could call ACR and figure it out by providing them with the serial number.

It is the second generation (later production) version. It has the braided cable that secures the end cap and a felt liner to reduce any light leakage when operating it with the I.R. shield.

    Of course it functions.

Use could be measured in minutes. I've only ever tested it before gearing up and heading out, to make sure it still had battery life.
