batterystation.com was selling a box of 50 123's for $60... i picked one up, they work just as good as surefire or streamlight batteries, and less than half the price

imho
the cheapest you can go and get a SAFE battery is Titanium Innovations.
they are cheap but the only cheap one with UL approval and rating
otherwise go for duracells
