    Default GROUPBUY: Nichia NSPU510CS 375nm UV 5mm

    <UPDATE>

    Sorry guys,

    I have decided to cancel this groupbuy due to lack of time. If anyone wants to pick it up, they are more than welcome to. I may reconsider at a later date if there is sufficient interest.

    Once again, sorry everyone.

    </UPDATE>

    Hello all,

    I will be placing an order with Nichia for the NSPU510CS leds. Nichia has a 100pcs MOQ. I plan on keeping 30 out of the 100. 70 would be up for grabs, approximately $5/led + S&H.

    Please post below if interested. I was request funds when I have the LEDs in my posession.

    These are the 5mm LEDs that Arc uses in their UV AAA light.
    Great UV florescence out this LED, not much visible light but this actually helps with the "glowing up" factor these things can produce.

    Very tempting...

    Don't need any of them, but I just wanted to chime in and say that I use these in my A2 rings and they are stellar 5mm UV LED's. They have excellent output for a 5mm and surprising throw in a dark room. At 375nm they're lower than your standard UV LED - less visible light, more UV. They do an excellent job curing Norland. They're not as good for pet stains - you want 390nm+ for that, but they'll reveal a lot of currency details that could otherwise be missed.

    You're also messing with serious UV power at this point, so avoid reflections and don't look into the emitters without some sunglasses on.

    it isn't too hard once you get the potting material out. I find it easier just to use the nitecore T0.

    How difficult is it to mod an e01 with one of these?

    A Purple T0... I like the idea.

    What would be the S&H to Europe? I could be interested in 1-2 leds.

    I have a few purple T0 waiting on these wonderful LEDs. Shipping would be whatever canada post charges for small packet to your location + $1 for bubble mailers and other misc supplies. I can't see it being more than 5-6 bucks for shipping for most orders. *don't quote me on that!*

    I was fortunate enough to buy some of these LEDs inthe last group buy if you don't have the capability of doing your own mod, you can simple replace the LED in a fauxton with the UV and it will work fine.

    Not sure if PEAK are still doing custom work, if they are you can send the LEDs to Curt to make a light for you.

    Three LEDs In a AA package.
