Great choice, the original Ti was my first real light as well. Look at Veleno Designs in the dealers forum. He makes some great stuff for sunwayman V series lights and he is a great guy as well.

Thanks for the advice, I had been looking at the Veleno Designs post after the ti 2's had been sold out and all most bought a older v10r ti off the bay to do tritium mods on but then the ti + came out for pre order and a few extra cooling fins became available so now I'm waiting on the light , tritium cooling fins and a switch to get here so I can try my luck on tearing it down and replacing the parts.

I haven't seen the ETA updated - still shown as 3-25-12 from my preorder. Anybody seen anything different yet? Or even better, anybody get a shipped notice yet?

I would like to at least see an update to the ETA. It seems a little silly to keep the 3-25-12 date at this point.

thats a 3 week delay, wonder what the problem is.
Looks like I will have a set of glowing fins before the ti+ shows up.

The Ti+ was never really confirmed for any time in March. Dealers were setting speculative times even though it still has a "rough" date of early April.

Don't know about the other folks but we have V10R Ti+ with a shipping number (finally) but no actual movement yet from SWM. Might be preemptively printing a label. If that's the case then arrival in a week or so is definitely a possibility.

Unfortunately, I don't think so...I pre-ordered it from LJ right when they came out and I still haven't received a shipping notice from them like I typically do.

From factory ETA April 6-8 so give or take a few days it's about right.
