Funny, with all of the "I'm interested" & "Add me to list" posts, this run would have been completely subscribed......

A bit foggy and wet last night so it was hard to get beam shots.
My other thrower, Catapult V2 modified with XML and 3 amp driver.

I'm finding it a little difficult to interpret the beam shots. The hot-spot of the Thud appears brighter than that of the Catapult in the top two pictures.

How would you describe the comparison of what you saw with your eyes?

Are you using 2 cells with the Catapult?

Considering that the Catapult has a larger diameter reflector (to my knowledge) than the Thud, it would be amazing if the Thud (on one cell) could outthrow the larger diameter Catapult with two cells.

I spaced out the photos so you can see the labels better.

The top two pics are the most accurate for hotspot.
Bottom two to get an idea of the spill.

The Catapult has a brighter hotspot and less spill. With the larger and deeper reflector, this isn't a surprise.
Cell count doesn't really factor in as both lights are running at 2.8 to 3 amps.

The Thud loses out in terms of throw to the larger light by a small margin but it was still favored by the occupants of vehicle due to it being ~1/2 the size.

    Hi Steve,

Is there an official list identifying how many are left? If there are any please add me for one.

    Thanks!

    Cheers,

    for

    1 x Thud Ti 18650 = $900
    six (6) 2 x 12mm trits installed in cooling fins (3x red, 3x orange, arranged alternately) = $90
    six (6) 1.5 x 6mm trits installed in tailcap (3x iceblue, 3x orange, arranged alternately) = $51

    TOTAL = $1041

    Thanks !

Wow It's April, they should be shipping soon, can't wait to get mine. The machining should be top notch just like the otheres, and this is a great deal for the size of the titanium head. Get them while you can, if you don't you'll regrete it, I am sure of that.

Are they going to be shipping soon? My wife is out of town for a week, would be great to get them during this time, then I would be safe. If ya know what I'm saying.

Is that the first half or the second half (I assume second)? Inquiring minds want to know!

I like the design so much I was trying to figure out how I could by a 3rd. I have been trying to stay with one of a style light, but it's hard. I have 7 spy light's and never feel guilty about them. I think this design will hold up through time and will be on everyones wanted list. I just want to here the thud.
