I am in for battery capsules maybe but need to know $$ and have a look at one ?

[are these capsules shells that the first machine shop screwed up with maybe too crude a thread pitch
so they are fine battery carriers but not good enough for DD duty ?]

It should be self-evident that I trust the products you deliver, based on my time using the 40DD and
also pre-paid in a hurry for 4 44DD.... and am not trying to imply you do anything half-arsed in any way.
I was only wondering if you happened to have a pile of titanium in the proper size to make carriers, or if this
is a new project entirely...no worries I ask too many questions and perhaps I should just sit and wait and
see what stuff you come up with. I am not questioning your integrity whatsoever. Your 40DD, compared
to anything else I own that runs on batteries, is a level above

Okay I got confused. I thought it was Kuku's picture with Powerpax picture. But it looks nice with 10220 stacked in two. I'm kinda curious about the battery capsule as well. At least material wise maybe ??

The lube I used was TiTi twister. Now that you mention it, it does look like old silicon grease.

I think I would prefer SS. My preference would be for something that looks like the light, but not quite. The BB finish on the 40DDs has held up really well riding around in my pocket - so if it was BB that would really rock. Even better if there was both BB and plain, as I could get one for my 40DD battery (used to have 2 40DDs, gifted one after I got the 44DDs on order)

and pick the QTC off the magnet

ARRIVAL IN THE USA (Ohio).

My (non-anodized) 44D arrived just before lunch. Very nice, extremely good machining and smooooth threads (no excessive black stuff on them ).

While I really like the size of the 40D (it's only 4mm different) the nice improvement on the 44D is the battery is not flush to the top of the lower housing. Makes it alot easier to get the battery out (not that it was difficult with the 40DD).

Can it be posted exactly what charger is needed? I think this one will be different than the 38DD and 40DD. I would hate to get it and not have a charger.
