Sorry for the lack of response, but I thought it best to hunker down and get some stuff done before answering the emails and posts.
I have to do some traveling today but I will be shipping out tritium packages before I leave, maybe a batch of switches too if I can pack fast enough.
A batch of Thuds are scheduled to ship tomorrow.
I will resume normal operation tomorrow.
Thanks for understanding.
Hum... new UV unit seems to be a little less powerful than the old one.
I'm going to give the norland an extra day.
Shipping all switch orders Monday.![]()
Sweet! Can't wait.
All switches shipped and email sent.
Please let me know if you did not receive shipping confirmation.
Received my switches today. Thanks Steve.
So you guys know that I love Steve's work especially his SVM electric switch..
I made some buttons and milled some shapes...

Those are beautiful!! I love number 1 and 2 and 3 and . . . .WAIT! I love them all! Excellent work! I love the circle one best though!
I guess you should do a pink heart for the wives and girlfriends...

Oh My Kaichu! That's an AWESOME idea! Go for it Mohanjude!

Pretty sweet Mohanjude!!!
Damn! I am jealous!
Sweet buttons Mohan!
Thanks guys... While driving today I was thinking.. I could make any shape as long as I am prepared to use it like a dot (dot matrix) - it will use up a lot of trits but it opens up possibilities...
Let me give it some thought.. I will you posted
Mohan
I like the one with the four trits. Ice blue, orange, yellow and green. Oh yeah, dont forget the DLC.When and how much?
Yeah - that's my favorite as well. Probably at least in part due to the fact that it's a shape that hasn't been seen before!![]()

The torch went out for coating 10 days ago. They priced it up and I paid the invoice last Thursday. The lead time is about 10 working days after payment. The cost was only slightly higher as a extra fin was included for coating ($21 extra). Parts should be back end of next week. Total is about $114 - I will then send the whole lot back to you.
I like the square pattern too. It seems the most efficient layout for seeing each trit clearly with the maximum number packed together.
Although I also like the more-conventional (by now) 6-trit pattern, the overlapping of the 2 levels can result in a slightly blurry overall effect - especially when using different colours. The bottom trits also tend to be drowned out by the top ones unless they are much brighter colours)
Ok, I was just refering to your switch button with the DLC but thanks anyway for the update on my torch. I was just fixin' to email you about the torch. Take care and thanks.[QUOTE=Mohanjude;4651954]Ron

I also realised if the layer of Norland is thick it makes the trits look thin as you only see the glowing phosphor and not the shape and halo of the glass vial.
Very nice stuff Mohan!
