Let's wait and see what happens the minute I go to bed... LOL! That's usually when all goes fubar. But I've given it a good run-thru and it seems to be ok. More needs to be done... see my post in the Announcement forum... but I am hopeful...

How does removing the ability to search for new posts make the site more usable?

Other than eliminating the load of that usage? It seems like removing a cars engine to make it go faster. IMO, YMMV. maybe I missed the post explaining that and how to use the site in its absence. Could someone link that bit of info?

Edit: found the notice. Looks like the search functionality will get restored at some point. Couldn't find it without the search function though. At least there is rss
