Why do we need to register sperately for CPF and CPFM?

I will have to say that I somewhat agree with you. I know why they have the rules but there is also common sense, if someone wants to buy or sell something and the introduction section doesn't count....I don't know.

I remember being on this site a few years back and eventually before I accumulated what I had to accumulate in posts I just said heck with it. Hopefully I can last long enough this time. To be honest the only reason I'm even responding is so I can get my post count up and some people (I've read) have ten posts and they still can't do whatever it is they want to do.<shrug> I can't picture myself just blabbering away in ten posts to have priviledges. I thought I read (and I did read the rules) three posts. We shall see.

AARRGH! This is so dumb! First there's a 3 post mininum to see the deals section. Fine. But I just tried to post a WTB, and now it's a 5 post minimum. What's next? A 10 post mininum to sell something...a 15 post minimum to PM the buyer...20 posts to be able to add my paypal ID to a PM?

You might want to have a look at the note in red at the top of the page in this section.

Also, I think if people (in general) cannot be bothered to figure out how and where to make a few *appropriate* posts, there are probably other places where they might be happier. It really isn't that difficult to figure it out. If it were, there would never be any new members.

You can buy whatever you want - no one is stopping you. And if you look around for the introduction section, you will find that your posts indeed *DO* count there... but they don't here - because this isn't the introduction section...
