Been dead here since 8PM/three hours ago, and as is usually the case, I've been searching the multiple places where there could be an announcement or discussion, only to wind up in some new place I wouldn't have thought to look, where there is no announcement and very little discussion. TMG... It goes down for about 3-5 minutes every morning while it's doing a back up. It is set for 4:30 am Pacific Time.

I just did a reboot of the server. Should be back up in just a minute.

Now that I am back from my road trip, I will be doing some heavy duty maintenance on the database and software. I've been pretty much waiting for the "new" software to work out its bugs and let the dust settle. Now it's time to do some serious tweeking... it needs it.

Haven't been able to log on CPF for at least 4 hours. But there's no message indicating maintenance or anything.

At one time they would cross post messages when CPF or CPFM went down but now it seems that we are just left in the dark.

I agree. When I can't get on one or the other for more than a few minutes, I always go to the other to see if there is a message indicating a problem. Thus the benefit of having separate servers. No updates here today.

I have been busy for most of the day with a crashed PC and other personal issues. I have been checking in with the forums every couple hours and just noticed CPF down a couple of hours ago. I exhausted all of my capabilities and no go. I am in contact with the server host now and they are working on it. No estimate on when it will be fixed.

Ok everyone... it looks like the server hard drive decided to take a dump. Not any fault of mine or anything I did. Our server host is running a file check, repair and restore. Yes, there is a backup of the server... done at 4:30 AM PT this morning.... in case anything happens. Please everyone... do whatever you believe in to send positive thoughts for a successful restoration. Me? I'm heading for that bottle of vodka in the back of the freezer....
