This light sounds great! I've had several lights that I tighten to turn on (carry with head loosened), and I've never once lost the head to a light! I really like that modes are accessed by twisting to different positions. Twisting the light on and off several times to reach the level I want is a pain. I'll look forward to seeing this light soon.

With 3 modes, sometimes I'm not sure which mode I'm in; with 2 modes, the difference is obvious. That's why I've been considering two 2-mode 1AAA lights: the N-light B3 and the Lumintop Worm.
I also strongly prefer Thrunite's twist-switch, where instead of turning back and forth you KEEP TURNING to reach the next brightness level. I've used such a twist switch on the Fenix TK20 and the EagleTac P20A2; it's far more intuitive.
nickel-zinc (NiZn) AA cells: 1.6V @ 2 amps, flat discharge curve, $3 per cell, safe--the next generation of rechargeable AA.
Ive lost my hope that this light is gonna be released so i bought a Klarus AAA Ti light, i think they stoped it like the bike light
I think we'll release the light middle of the next month!

Thrunite,
That is great news. This could be an ideal night light and general use light combined. I love that you are using a UI where you tighten to turn the light on and then tighten further rather than twist off and back on. Will there be plans for a neutral version as well as the cool version and will the lights be available in different colours like the Fenix EO1? Finally what do you think the retail price will be?
Retail pricing .19.95USD.yes it will have the different colors!
Sounds good but I asked before in this very thread if Firefly mode was going to be the same as all other lights @ .09 lumens and you said yes. I am scratching my head here, but why would of all the lights that Thrunite makes that use Firefly mode, would you decide to raise the lumens of firefly in a AAA light? If anything you'd lower it to compensate for the fact it uses a smaller capacity battery, so in theory you'd want .04-.05 lumens to extend runtime due to it being a AAA light.
Having said that, I'll still be buying this light.

GOOD news. can get 0.06lumens for low. really firefly mode
I guess this fills up a niche market that doesn't exist for other AAA lights at the moment, but it's not for me. Having only the option of a very dim firefly mode to a blastingly bright high, doesn't work well in my usage. A middle mode would help a lot. Or have the 'high' mode 15-20 lumens, instead of 80 lumens.
I guess, I'll have to give this a miss and let the ultra-low lovers buy this one.
I'm not really interested in using any other mode than firefly on this light. This will be a dedicated nightlight. If I need other higher modes I won't bother twisting. I will simply click on my Zebralight H51c to get the exact level I need. The Thrunite AAA light really fills niche for me. I won't be using it for anything other than a night light.
David I am really looking forward to this light arriving in the UK. I will probably order two or three immediately or more depending on the colours available. What colours are you planning on David?
we should have five color for this light!
Great to hear it is .06 lumens for Firefly mode. Can't wait to order several colors. Is this still expected to be available mid October?
Any chance of a few sneak peaks at what this looks like?
I really hope this sells exceptionally well so maybe other companies will take notice we really want LOW lows, and 1-5 lumens isn't what we mean when we say low lows.

This is light spens us about one years to develope, we try about 7 driver solution. now we think it is time for introduce to you !
Looking forward to seeing the light especially if you have put all that R&D into them. If it is as tough as your usual product then I will be happy.
Even at $19.99 this will be a legitimate E01 "Killer" in my book. Can't wait to try firsthand runtime tests with this baby.
