Cobra Buckle Belts, 1" Width, Custom Colors

I am now offering 1" and 1.5" mil-spec nylon belts made using 1" and 1.5" Cobra buckles. I can't describe how cool these belts are...I use 100% US-manufactured military specification materials for these belts, from the webbing, to the buckle, the Velcro, and even the thread used. I use the same Type "E" thread for the thread and the bobbin. The 1" belt size also works great if you have certain flashlight holsters -- some of them will not work on the wider belts.

So far, I have finished the prototype. These belts are adjustable over a few inches so if your weight fluctuates a little, no worries. Many belts similar to this are not adjustable and are just sewn to be one size. Also, my 1" belts will fit through regular belt loops...I tested it on a few pair of Levi's I have as well as TADGear Amphibious Cargo Shorts...you can run the belt through the loops without removing the adjustable end of the buckle. I can't do that on the 1.5" belt I have.

My belt also has a double layer of nylon webbing around the fixed end of the buckle to prevent wear. The 1.5" one I have has a single layer...I never liked that about it. I also run an extra length of a slightly thicker webbing through the bulk of the belt to give it a little more structure.

Colors of 1" mil-spec webbing I have right now:

Foliage green (sage green)

Khaki (lighter than "tan", above)
Silver (light gray)

Royal blue
Navy blue
Multicam (+$5 per standard-size belt)
ACU camouflage (+$5 per standard-size belt)

Anyway, here are some pics of my prototype...

I will need to order the buckles for these as orders are placed as they are quite expensive, but if you haven't handled one before, you'll see how nice they are when you get your belt...these buckles are great! I make every one of these myself and it takes me a few hours to make each one. The price for this belt is $65 shipped within the US (postal m.o. only -- if you would like to use any other payment method, please PM me first) and that will cover up to a 40" waist. Larger sizes will be slightly more due to additional cost of materials and time. As far as I know, I'm the only one making these in 1" size, at least right now. And again, all materials used in these belts are 100% US-manufactured military specification quality.

1.5" belts are $75 shipped due to additional time required to make them (wider, so more linear stitching required).

I can also make your belt so that you can remove the buckle. This is handy so that in case you'd like to buy a different belt later, you can use the same buckle and save $25 off the next belt. The removeable buckle option is +$10 due to the additional time needed in construction and additional materials to make them this way.

Also, there are several ambiguous ways I've read to determine belt size...in order to minimize confusion, what I will do is make the belt to the circumference you tell me to make it. That will be the smallest it will be, then I will make it adjustable where it can be approximately 2-3" larger than that minimum size you specify. Hope that makes sense. As with all things I do, I take a great deal of pride in these belts...I make things to the highest quality as possible. That said, these belts are hand-made with a heavy-duty machine...but I don't have lasers or anything like that to make sure the stitching is absolutely the same distance apart. They are pretty close as I do have an attachment that helps with that, but as with all handmade items, there may be slight variations here and there, but they will not be noticible unless someone is looking at your belt from a few inches away...and if they are, I don't really want to know about it or how you got into that situation. If it is too far off, I start over. I'm not going to sell a substandard effort. If I wouldn't wear it, I won't ship it...same with everything I make and I have HIGH standards.

Does the belt adjust by pulling through the buckle and velcroing back against the belt? That's what it seems to look like. Can you make this adjust up to say, 8"? I've gone from a 52" to 44" waist this year and I'm headed for somewhere around 36". I'd like to hit 38" by years end. Makes it hard to buy clothing yaknow... Still I could use a good belt for my cargo pants.

I should be able to make it adjustable over an eight inch range. The only thing that might be a problem is how long the velcro is will affect how adjustable it is.

Since these shouldn't probably be used for rapelling, I'll offer the option to make the buckle removeable...that way, if you want to order a different color belt later, it will cost less since you'll already have the buckle. I can make it with the buckle fixed in place too though...your choice...
