4Sevens support: Batteries 4 Life still served for Titanium MiNi CR2?

Sent another e-mail today about B4L as my e-mail from 3 weeks ago was not answered.

On my last trip to 4Sevens I ordered one of the hCRI MiNi AA's and thought about seeing about getting my batteries caught up and it showed that I am apparently no longer on the list to receive them - still got the Ti MiNi CR2, but no more batteries coming.

Then the next day my order for the MiNi AA was rejected and I was sent a refund.

The batteries for life on my account now says. 5 batteries per six months (for 2 years!).


I don't remember it saying two years before now.

We changed the batteries for life program to two years, shortly after release of the program. If you have just received one shipment after a year, there should be more shipments awaiting you. This would be selectable at the same place on your account that you confirmed this shipment.

I have never had any problems getting mine. Sent the E-mail, and they arrived within a week.

Also, willthe CR-2 MiNi's be back in Ti.? I really like that light quite a bit.

My customer service with 47's has always been very good.

I can see on my 4sevens account that it is more than a year ago I got the one and only batteries4life shipment, and according to my inbox I have never received more than one email asking for address confirmation and that was for the one shipment I received.

It looks like 4sevens server has forgotten to send some emails.

I never got the emails and the site never gave me the option, I had to repeatedly email or call. The B4L was an epic fail but the only one from the great folks at 4sevens.

My latest B4L experience was last week, no email and choosing my address on the account page didnt work correctly, one simple quick phone call and the batteries were shipped the same day.
Customer service has always been 1st class.

I'm pretty sure that i have bought a Mini CR2 Titanium with a 2 year batteries subscription in november 2010.
I remember that you had no choice : a Mini CR2 Ti was always sold with a subscription. I wanted to get only the flashlight but i remember it was not possible.

The problem is that i have absolutely no email or website to prove this .. The 4sevens support told me that i have paid $79.20 and that the Mini Cr2 Ti with subscription was $99. But i have used the CPF coupon code and i think it was a time with -10% or something like that.

If you have bought a Mini Cr2 Ti during november 2010, can you tell me how much you have paid and with or without subscription ?

Try checking your account at 4Sevens website, there is a list of all orders and I also found a note saying when I last received batteries and how many was left.

i have absolutely nothing about Batteries for Life in my account ..
though i remember i had no choice to uncheck the program when i bought the Ti with early bird -20% reduction

maybe the fact it was a -20% early bird removed the Batteries for life ?

Yep. This is similar to my experience. I've had small problems with lights from them in the past (clouded lens on a Ti MiNi AA, failed switch on a Quark CR123) that have always been resolved VERY quickly and to my satisfaction. I never got my first shipment and neglected to call until the second shipment came due. That's when they sent me (at my request) both 1st and 2nd shipments at once (the website says they sent it to another address but I remember getting them sent to me at the right address?). I was worried that I wouldn't get my 3rd or 4th shipments on time but then I got an email asking me to confirm my address. Mind you, I never received any emails asking me to confirm my address before that but it didn't matter since I hadn't moved anyway. This email had them sending me the batteries to the correct address for the 3rd shipment. This February (my last shipment was due March 16th), I went on the website and made sure they had my current address. I even hit the button David mentioned in a previous post. What happened? I've had to email them yet again. I got a response two days later (today) asking me for my order number.

If there wasn't an automated system in place, why have people fallen through the cracks? That's all I want to know. I haven't tested any of my CR2's, but I will when I get a chance. It hadn't even occured to me to do so since 4sevens brand CR123 batteries had consistently tested higher for me than other brands I'd tried (Energizer, and Battery Station) but now I'm wondering.

I'm not going to make any grand declarations about never shopping at 4sevens again, but I must say I am disappointed in the B4L program. I remember the hullaballoo that was raised about it and how a lot of us wanted to just get the light without having to worry about the hassle of following up on merchandise that hadn't been sent to us yet. I'm sure that production costs had a lot to do with offering the batteries up like this alongside the product, but let's face it this program has failed. All David, Trevor, Heather, Simone, and anyone else at the company can do is apologize, try to make it right, and move on hoping that it won't cost them a customer. Personally, I haven't bought a brand new light in AWHILE and their High CRI line caught my attention. As soon as I proof-read and post this (my wife would love to hear me say that), I'm going onto their site to see those products are worth my moolah.

Here's to hoping that my last shipment makes it to the right address soon and 4sevens won't have another B4L only light in the future! *rant over*

I don't have links, but several months ago the USPS stopped allowing the shipping of ANY lithium batteries. This may have changed since then, and appreciate anyone that provide current info, but this included installed, permanent, and loose lithium batteries. Calculaters, watches, computers, cell phones, and of course lights, anything that has lithium batteries installled.
