WTB Zebralight H50W and H50

Hey mate,

I know derfyled mentioned the H51R already, but have you tried or thought about trying the H51Fr? It's the same as the H51R model, only with a frosted lens.

I picked one up myself and use it on the same pack I have my H501r on:

Both on L2


Both on max


Wall shot, H501R on top, H51Fr on bottom


The H501r has size going for it, better clip attachment (for my purposes anyway as I had to use the headband holder to rig the H51Fr to my pack), and a more red tint.

The H51Fr is current regulated and has a wider choice of lumen levels (high is a lot brighter too). Tint does lean towards red-orange.

Just thought I'd throw it out there in case you might want to give it a try.

Wow, you're really discourging me.
You started this thread a year and a half ago and still haven't been able to find a used H50W.

I have an H50W myself that I bought new when ZL was making them, and I find it perfect for some uses, so I dropped back to the ZL website to buy another or two.
I quickly found that they no longer make a no-hotspot, 120 degree, floody, so I came here to the Marketplace to pick up a couple.
Then I find that you haven't been able to find even one in 1-1/2 years which means that I guess the one I have is all I'm going to have for a very long time.

Good luck, and if you find a spare H50W, let me know because I'll take it off your hands.
