I just don't understand why 2200 is the limit ,
since it's obvious that 2900mAH capacity cells are now available .

It must be a Legal/Protection type thing ..... so I'm moving on now ....

I just pulled the trigger on a Fenix TK21 U2 yesterday. I love the light but find buying CR123s pretty expensive. I am concerned about an 18650 in the TK21 due to the turbo mode suddenly switching to high mode. I heard this is mainly due to battery issues. I am now looking for an 18650 rechargable battery that will not have issues with the TK21.

also, I was reading some info about testing the wf-139 charger to see if you have the old or new version, and I found something that hopefully isnt a problem.

With no batteries charging, I can get a reading of about 4.9-5 volts from the right charging channel, but I get 0.0v/no reading from the left channel. If I put a battery in the left/right or both slots the charger shows its charging like normal, but now Im wondering if the left channel isnt charging properly? Like I just said, if I put a battery in the slot it shows that its charging, but if I try and measure the voltage from the left slot I cant get any reading...

If the cells are charging properly and at rated mAh after the charge, in either slot, there is no issue, I believe

Hi WonderLite. A couple questions.

What is the exact length of the 10440 unprotected cells. I asked AW about this a couple years ago, and don't remember what he told me. My application requires a cell length of no more than 44mm. AW's Older blue wrapper flat top 10440 cells work fine, as they are 43.5mm in length, but are 4-5 years old, so I am thinking of replacing them.

Second question, are the unprotected 2200mAh 18650 cells flat top I hope, or do they have an added nipple? Also, a length measurement would be helpful here too, but I'm pretty sure that is not a problem.

45/70; I do not ave my MM rule where I am but the 10440 is 1/8 of an inch less than 1 and 3/4 inches in length
The u 18650 2200 is flat --top and bottom and is 1/8 inch more than 2 1/2 ins. Sorry about not having MM measuring device here, now
