Sounds more like a mistake than a meaningful reference. Obviously, the CONCEPT was probably in development...but if they had the light, I'm sure it would have been on the table.

the specifitions about the throw of the SR92 is very very overated.
I saw this flashlight on action,and the beam distance is only about 400 meters. even HID flashlight haven't beam distance of 1000 meters.

The ANSI specs have it at 465m.
