sl6 is a fun light for sure. i got a chance to play with one and it's alotta light for the size. i'm not sure who are going to be attracted to this light. maybe the s12 crowd looking for a wall of light in a pocket size. actually it's more practical than a s12 because it actually fits in a pocket. maybe leo's who can have full burst a click away because of the memory mode.
the photographer saying is the best camera is the one that's with the you. that's how i feel about the light. alot of my high power lights sit nicely decorated on my shelf.
the neutral is perfect in my eyes. sometimes i get a neutral that's a bit brownish or pinkish but this looks yellow to me.
actually it's like having a car halogen high beam in your pocket.
my wife officially hates me. nights walks turns into Operation Light Up Hormone Teenagers in the Park lol.

I can't believe,
my SL6-800W arrived today; only 4 days by EMS -

This beautiful light is even much smaller than I thought
Everything seems to work fine,
there seems a little donut-hole on white wall and tint seems a little greenish;
I hope I find some time for a few beamshots outside this evening

please don´t ship with EMS to germany in future. a lot of problems with the german EMS-courier called GDSK !!!
slow work and they take very expensive charge only for doing the customs clearance -> USD 38.00
and this is not the end, cause i have to pay custom fee of course.

my SL6-800W came today, but it has already a big problem:
in super-mode the light turns off always after 5-20 seconds and I can't turn it on again only after unscrewing a little bit and tighten again the head or the tail. Everything is clean and I tried different batteries --> no difference
What to do?

I guess thats not a problem with the light, but with Your batteries.

SL6 needs a lot of current in turbo-mode, that only a few 18650 batteries are able to deliver.


Try unprotected Sanyo cells, they work fine.

HiltiHome does make a point but no one knows for certain, maybe Xyber does. My batteries are high quality 2400mAh
