DQG II World Smallest CREE XP-G R5 AAA Light Upgrade Version

Hi guys

After the long waitting here comes the first sample of DQG II Tiny AAA light Upgrade version.

DQG II has made a great improvement with the body(can catch up to B3 when the lights put into bulk production).Compared to the previous version,the machining is up to the first grade (cant see any hand-made marks) and its size is even smaller. one-hand control is available. I'll send this sample to Coolperl to post a short feedback in this thread.And he will receive it soon.

The final UI and circuit have NOT finished yet, the sample uses the old circuit still.

Uses CREE XP-G R5 LED / CREE XP-G R4 LED
Made of Stainless Steel
UI: Twist head to switch mode. (2 or 3 mode, has not finished)
Battery: 1xAAA
Weight: 12g
Size:57.5mmx12.6mmx12mm

I will update this thread if there is any progress .

Update:

DQG II has some changes here:

1. The tail part revised abit. The retaining ring has changed into "D" Clasp. See the picure.


2. The magnet was installed in the tail. Tailstand is still available.If you extremly dont want the magnet, please contact me via email.


3. With the new circuit the polarity of the battery is not reversed any more.

The release time may be prelonged.But will come out at the end of this month.

enki_ck, how'd you get the magnet to pop out... not on purpose, I guess?
I'd like to remove it and maybe put a tritium dot in it... that'd look nice...

I set the tail of it on a warm (NOT HOT) radiator for a few seconds. The heat loosend it, must have been blue locktite which loosens when heated.

I will thake two (2) also, one if available neutral XP-G (R4) and the other one XP-G (R5) .
I will thake two (2) more if Alu is available than .. preferred colour titan and black.
If you have one 2/3 AAA of the older Tiny lin stock, i would thake this aswell.
