Got some new tooling (3/4 drill chuck and 41/64 bit for lathe) and was able to make the 16340 to 18650 sleeves easier and longer.





I am going to have to make myself some of these, there are great with the CR123A or AW16340 size batteries in a tube sized for 18650s.

KC_451 - The tubes shown are to minimize the rattle the 16mm batteries have when used in 18mm tubes (even the single cell version), they are $10 each. I have not tried to make a 3x16340 tube, but I will try to make one for $15. It might not work because the material is so thin and so long at that point. If you order it and I cannot make it, I will of course refund your money and include whatever comes out in the order for free.

Sorry for such stupid question. I wonder if it could be using your set of Magwires only, without any adapter from positive and negative of the charger directly to positive and negative of the battery ?

Normand - I don't fully understand your question. I sell the Mag wires by them selves ($5 a pair). They can be used with a hobby charger to charge batteries, but you need to figure out a way to attach to the charger. If you can figure out a way to attach to the charger they will attach to the battery.

Normand - It won't work with the pila IBC because the spring loaded end is not magnetic.

I highly suggest you read up on li-ion batteries and the possible dangers before buying li-ions or any of my products.
