I also get a blank screen when trying to access CPF proper via Firefox.
I enter Candlepowerforums in the Google search box
I click Enter
I get the Google page showing CPF
I click on it
I get a white page
I can enter it though through CPFMP.
Edit:
I am able to access CPF via IE though

Thanks for all your efforts Greta (Sasha). It looks very nice to me!
I'm a 50 TeraByte self evolving neural network double back flip off the high platform.
@ Greta
Thanks for trying to reproduce it.
I have not changed any settings to Firefox though, and had no access issues before the Upgrade, so I am not sure what I would have to change to access CPF.
I will see what happens later on.
Hope you're feeling better
Update:
I am now able to access CPF via Firefox.
It takes a few seconds, as on the bottom of my screen, the data shows transferring...connecting...transferring....connec ting; several times until CPF appears and the bottom of the screen says 'Done.'
Prior to being able to access CPF, the bottom of the blank screen would just say 'Done.'
I don't know what the issue is or was, but CPF is accessible, for me at least.

Fixed!
It's a bug in your browser history.
Just go to the "tools menu" at the top of the firefox browser and click "clear recent history" Then select "clear everything" from the dropdown menu and apply.
Voila!
Worked for me at least.
Hope this helps the others that are having trouble=)
Thanks again for the response Greta!

This is my opinion. There are many like it but this one is mine.
Mine just started working on its own without any changes. Your change may have been coincidental to FF access to CPF.
either way, I'll take it lol

I still can't access CPF proper.
All history/cookies cleared for all browsers.
Computer re-booted.
No FF, no Chrome, nada.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: After clearing everything again, re-booting for the THIRD time, it now works. Thanks again for all of your efforts.

Thanks for the upgrade!
Thanks for working on it again, Greta, I've been having a hell of a time when using Seamonkey (Mozilla suite). Just went to clear some history etc., come back and it's getting repaired!
It has been loading slowly for a few weeks now though...
I'm running some scripts to try to work out the search issues and speed things up again. I'm going to let it run and get some sleep. No doubt I'll be up again in a few hours to check on it. Insomnia does have it's benefits. And Hank makes sure I don't miss out on them...![]()
The MP is running really beautifully Greta, and loading really quickly now, no real complaints here. I am very hopeful that CPF will run as smoothly after these most recent updates. I am also acclimating to the changes pretty quickly. In a few weeks it will just be normal and we won't be so goofy about it all. Thanks again for your diligence in keeping everything up to date and stable for us.![]()
CPFMP is working well. I'm sure CPF will too, once it's back up.

Perhaps President B.O.'s book when he was running for Office. Puts me to sleep.

I have two different computers in two different states. One is home, one is work. One uses Firefox the other uses Internet Explorer. Neither one is able to get on CPF.
The one at work I tried clearing all my history, files and cookies and still cannot get in. I have not yet tried this at home.

Looking good, is there anyway to have the blue font tone on CPFMP match the one on CPF in butthead er beamhead black?
It is much easier on the eye on CPF.

Yup! I'm going to work on the skins some more as there are little things in each of them that need to be adjusted on all of the sites...![]()

CPF closed again, 'tis the price of the relentless march towards a better CPF
Also loving the Google search-and-show feature at the top of every page here! Thank you Greta!![]()

I don't think he was meaning to complain about it, as much as he misses it, all of us do!
There is no need to apologize for anything Greta, you are doing what you can, we all know that, and appreciate that more than you may know!
Take your time, get it right, we will survive for a while without our fix!
My Mags aren't very impressive anymore!
I can see both sides. I understand that the updates are necessary but the downtime is kind of a .....well......downer. lol
This is my opinion. There are many like it but this one is mine.
