ADAPTERS: Vital Gear E2C BK adapters. Available in black only. These E2C adapter rings allows E-series bodies to accept C-series bezels and heads: 6P, C2, M2, KL3, KL5, and similar. These E2C adapters allow the use of P60 (6P, C2) style drop-ins and bezels of your choice with Vital Gear (and other) E-series bodies.

FITMENT/COMPATIBILITY: Vital Gear flashlight bodies accept E-series incandescent or LED heads:
E1E, E1B, E2E, E2L, KX2, KL4, and many others.

BATTERIES: Vital Gear flashlight bodies accept 16340, CR123A or RCR123 batteries.
FB1 accepts 1 cell.
FB2 accepts 2 cells. (Or a 17650, not an 18650.)
FB3 accepts 3 cells. (Or two AA batteries.)

NOTES: Vital Gear flashlight bodies and adapters are new/mint. (NOS)
Vital Gear Code: FB = Flashlight Body. 1,2 or 3= number of cells. BK= black. HA= Hard Anodized.
Vital Gear flashlight bodies are shipped without batteries.

Here's a popular combination, an FB2 BK and an E2C BK adapter. Just add a 6P style bezel and the drop in of your choice.

There are actually three styles of clip. Two in solid titanium, and one in V-shaped stainless. The only one available is the black chrome stainless steel. FB1 HA's are no longer available, a post to the Wanted section here in the Marketplace might produce one or two. FB1 BK's (black) ARE available. Feel free to post your order on this thread.

Syncytial FB3 BK's (black) are not available. There is ceracoating, and chrome plating available.

The HA III will surely look nice together with any Surefire HA . I saw one in the picture above but never mind. Any idea when the HA III version will be made available?

The FB1's in HAIII are no longer available. A WTB thread might turn up one or two. They are getting rare.

Is there any combination that allows the use of a protected 17670 with a C series head?

9 Volt A Vital Gear FB2 in black or HAIII natural will accept a 17650. Add an E2C adapter (for sale on this thread, and shown in picture) and a drop in and bezel and you're good to go. Since the 17670 you referenced is 20 mm longer, the difference would be absorbed by the spring of the drop-in and the spring of the tailcap, and you have adjustment room in the threads/O-rings of the tailcap, E2C adapter, and bezel. I would recommend a 17650.
