I got mine in the mail today and it is a very nice light that I think is going to be my daily carry light.

I received mine today. Outstanding! Nice fit and finish, very bright, very compact. Nicest small factor, high power torch I have. Will definitely EDC it.

I am using CR123's now. Can someone tell me; Is there an advantage to using RCR123's OR 16340's instead? Longer run times or higher output? Any benefit aside from being reusable. Not up to speed on my battery knowledge yet.

You get higher output with RCR123's as they are 3.7v and CR123 primaries are 3.0v. Not sure about runtimes, as I have yet to completely drain a battery. I switched to RCR123's in my Incendio and have been very pleased. It's my favorite light by far and rides in my pocket almost every day. I do tend to rotate my lights, but this one gets carried 90% of the time. Hats off to Lumapower for such a small, powerful torch with no strobe feature.

Thanks for the info. I have some new RCR's. I'll charge them and give them a try, not that this light really needs to be any brighter.

    Sigh Re: [IncenDio V3+] : 20-Oct-2010

    Hi Ricky,

I was wondering if you sell the emitters for this seperately...

I received my turbo head and did not know that 2X RCR123's would blow the emitter.

This is my first Lumapower light.

I'm ordering one of these from Illuminationgear very, very soon. The fact that you can also now get it in neutral white really sealed the deal for me.

You can't use two RCR123's with the 18650 body? Good to know. Can you use the 18650 body without the turbo head, or the turbo head with the normal short body?

    Hi Nibbles,

Yes, you can use the I-65 without Turbo Force or to use the Turbo Force without I-65.

I'm scratching my (rookie) head on this one, too!

Have 2 of the fine V3+ models (not limited editions) with the 'extras' kits.

Never heard there was an XM-L version?!?!

I have been carring my V3+ for ~3 weeks. Before purchasing i saw some concerns about the new clip not locking in 'no matter how hard you tighten the stainless steel end'... if anyone is curious there is an white plastic spacer under the rubber switc boot and when you remove it the clip will get pretty snug. Mine has not turned on me yet!
This is a great edc light!

should have the Incendio V3+ XM-L Limited Edition in a couple of weeks or so...
I will create a PRE-order button soon as we know shipment is on the way...

retail pricing not finalized yet - but probably only a few $ more than the XP-G.

and 'member folks - 1 R123/16340 preferably IMR/safe chemistry or 18650 only, and intermittent use at max lumens -
580 lumens out a tiny head like this will generate a lot of heat...
let's NOT switch it to max and take the dog out for a walk...

    Cheers

Will the turbo I-65 head work with the limited XM-L edition?
Also im a bit of a noob when it comes to the batterys required to run these EDC lights, i take it they only take 1x123a?

    Cheers in advance

    Hi getsideways,

The I-65 and Turbo Force works on XM-L version.

    Refer to battery type.

Since the XM-L version only produce on request (dealer)
    The spec. may be different.

    Lastest version supports primary 123A.
Please contact your local dealer for details.

    Hi,

I just abandoned my shopping cart at battery junction. I wanted the LumaPower IncenDio V3+ light but I couldn't spot a clip on it anywhere (new or older style?).

Also is there a Candle Power Forums coupon code for this store?

Should I wait the the XML version? I want the same size emitter (size wise) and not a big turbo style head. The XML is kind of an unknown performer right? I've read good things but they're mostly based on expectations fom what I gather.

    Anyone? Thanks!

    Cziv,

All incendio v3+ comes with a clip as a default. What you just saw on battery junction is sporting a lanyard ring which is also included on the accessories. You can interchange it the way you want.

If you want the xm-l version, illuminationgear have them in stock.

If you want a coupon code just head to the Good Deals section and you can find lots of them.

The xm-l is brighter and floodier than the xpg. But the xpg have a better throw compare to the xm-l coz the xpg have smaller dies.
