What is your favorite 4Sevens light?

My favorite isn't based on having tried multiple lights, but by researching and getting advice. Because of that, I've purchased the Quark AA (regular, not tactical). The user interface seems just right - very well thought out. People I've shown it to have also liked it so much that they bought one. Between my purchases (for myself and as gifts) and family/friends buying it, we've purchased at least 7 total.

Recently I performed an inventory of my 4Sevens lights:

Q 123 R5: EDC
Q 123 R2: with Prism as my primary headlight
Q 123^2 R2: The flashlight I bring with me when I expect to need one
Q 123^2 R5 Tactical: Kept with my CERT gear
Q 123^2 R2 Ti LE: Because titanium flashlights are awesome
ReVO SS: Running and biking

I sold my Q 123^2 R2 to a friend -- I'll be sorry to see it go, but I have a Q 123^2 S2 preordered.

Of these, the flashlight that I use the most is the Q 123 R5 -- it's in my pocket at all times, and by nature of being with me all the time it's my go-to flashlight for all occasions.

My favorite flashlight (not just 4Sevens flashlight) is the Titanium Quark. I like the way it looks, I like the way it feels in my hand, and I don't let anybody touch it. I do use it, but nobody else gets to.

Looking over my Christmas list, I'm putting together a 4Sevens order...

My EDC Ti Mini Sr: #2 123 Warm. Trusty little light with plenty of lumens and built like a Tank ....

I love the Mini 123. It's so light and compact that I carry it in my pocket with no problem at all, and it's amazingly powerful for a light that small.

I agree. One compact tough little light. Mine has gone through the washing machine a few times with no harm done. I keep mine hooked to my keys these days ...

Here's my legoed favourite:
Quark AA body with clip remowed
+ Neutral white XP-G R4 -> multi purpose - good colour rendition outdoors, decent spill
+ Regular -> all modes easily accessible
+ Turbo tailcap -> all modes fast accessible, especially ramping from moonlight is useful - just use momentary on and press button down when there's adequately light for the task at hand
+ Running on rechargeable 14500 -> 2-cell light performance in a handy package :-)
+ Quark FingerGrip -> works well for me in an AA-sized light
+ Quark Prism Kit with RGB filters -> a bit more diffused headlamp if necessary. I'm using a Fenix headband - not that tight in my head (size 59-60cm) than the one that came with the prism kit, also a battery storage for 2 spare batteries is included.

Out of the lot of Tactical and MiNis I have, if I have to pick one for favorite, it'll be the MiNi AA, which I use for overseas trips as well.

Seems like my favorite 4Sevens light is whatever one I've purchased most recently. In this case it's the stainless steel Preon ReVO: small size, silky-smooth action on the threads, tough-as-nails stainless steel body, gorgeous artifact free beam, regulated for constant output and long run times, and hidden special modes that never get in the way. This dude's a winner.

At work it's my black titanium Preon II with the regular Quark 123 as runner up. At home it's the regular Quark 123. I have a Quark mini 123 but the regular has taken it's place.

Preon Revo... it is a great light and it fits well on my keychain AND in my wallet. Now I can have a great light on my keychain and in my wallet so I have a spare battery and a spare light

I have got to say at the moment its the S/S REVO, really like my revo's beam tint and flawless build quality. Made a leather slip case for it and gave it a bit of a polish, WOW I think its one of the nicest lights around ( and I have a few ) short pinky lanyard with magizmo # 1 s/s clip(polished) and it stays with me all the time.

1.regular NW XPG R4 head on AA Ti body and cap[nice temperature without giving up brightness,great even flood]
2.regular warm Q3 5A on AA body [plenty of throw,great color rendition,needs diffuser for up close use]
3. mini AA warm XPG [flood of warm=yum,very small and light on a neck lanyard]

My one & two could switch positions easily.

I am presently EDCing two 4Sevens lights:

2AAA Preon, Neutral White
2AA Tactical Quark, Neutral White

My favorite between the two is the Preon, my most commonly used light as far as spontaneous unplanned usage. I use both of these light almost everyday on my bike - Preon on the helmet, quark on the handlebars.

Preon 2 warm. It's excellent. I work as a lighting tech in bars and when I crank it on high it makes everyone clear out the way.

Just got my 123>2 Turbo in the mail it is my current favorite.

NW CR2 Mini Alu. Hands down. Awesome output in tiny package, light, no percievable tint, always with me. Halleluja.
As a fairly distant second, my Ti Quark 123^2 regular (R5). Beautiful, great hand-feel, long running, reasonably sized, moon mode. Ti galling a non-issue with a clicky.

None of the others reach these, although my most used light is actually my NW Quark AA that every night serves as a roof-bounced night light in our bedroom so that we can see our youngest. 8 hours/day unless we forget it's on.

Next time I have to be fast enough to catch a neutral ReVo (Alu is fine, steel would work too) , which seems as though it could be an awesomely practical and likeable light.

Incidentally, out of the 70 or so replies where people declare their favourite, only 34 do not explicitly mention that their light is neutral (or warm).

To date, the aluminum Quark MiNi AA (w/ nw XP-G). It's almost as light and compact as a AAA light (at least before the ReVO), but it uses a battery with twice the energy, wider availability, and more bang for your buck.

If 4sevens ever released a AA version of the ReVO, though...

My favorite Quark flashlight for camping in the back country and EDC in town is the regular Quark 123² XP-G R5 cool white in his holster and the spare flashlight always with me is the MiNi 123 cool white and the prism not to far in a pocket well protected ready to use.

For EDC the tactical NW 1232 on the 123 body. For backup, in the work satchel, another tactical NW 1232 w/ a 17670. For some reason, I've never needed the power of 2 cr123's and have been happy w/ the light output of these setups.

Out of all my 4Sevens lights I would have to say for me its the Quark AA Tactical. I have all the different bodies for it, but mostly use the AA body with a 14500. The light has been in the wash and dryer three times and still works like new. If I go caving where I am under ground for long periods of time I will use the 18650 body and bring the AA body for back up. Great light.

OK - you're right - that's not entirely true.

But, it is awfully tough to choose. Right now, it's my G5, but I suspect that may change when my Quark MiNi 123 Titanium S3 gets here.

^ It's perhaps not about loving but more about liking alhough a (clinically) true flashaholic may really feel being in love with his collection in a way . I spend more time with the people I like most - and I use my 14500-powered AA from my Quarks the most.

I only have three 4Sevens lights so far (two Mini CR2 WW, one Ti Mini CR2) so I'll have to say the Mini CR2 is my favorite. But there are so many more I'd like to try out. Maybe a Mini 123 or Mini AA next?

Mine would have to be my Quark Turbo AA2 warm. I have a Quark AA2 tactical neutral that is like new that just sits in my bag since I go the warm turbo. Great light just wish it was a warm tint now.
