Will the redilast 2900 or 3100 fit in a Tk15?

The Fenix TK15 is one of the few lights that our cells do not work in.

Fenix poorly designed that light to only fit very small 18650's. Like bare cells 65mm and very short protected cells 67mm.

In the future we may consider selling a flat top cell.

The first page of this thread says that max. discharge ratio of P18650-2600mAh is 5.2A.

Are these cells safe to be rechareable and discharged more than hundreds of times even if
these are discharged several times at the max. discharge ratio(5.2A)?
I heard the 300 cycles are based on 1C or less than 1C standard discharge in general.

Most Li-ion manufacturers rate their cells cycle life to ~300-500 cycles (depending on the cell) at a 1C rate, and ~0.5C charge rate. This rating is typically to ~70-80% of the original cell capacity. With basically all battery chemistries, discharging the cell at higher rates will cause the cell to degrade and loose capacity faster. I've not seen studies done on LiCo cells @ a 2C discharge rate, but my guess is that you would see 1/2 to 2/3 the cycle life when compared to discharging at a <1C rate.

But not in mine. It is very close though (I could usually turn it on but it kept turning off when moved/changed modes). This is probably a question of manufacturing tolerances and some cells fit, some don't.

I have a Tenergy 01269-01 Li-ion charger I use for Ultrafire 3000 18650's. Does anyone know if it will fit the Redilast 3100? I saw an earlier post that said a Tenergy travel charger wouldn't work. However, my model is not a travel version. Thanks for the help.
