MY LIGHTS
TI Mini 123/Quark TI limited tactical 123 x 2/Q5 Aspheric Mag SS Bezel
82 lumens OTF? Brighter than the Preon original?
So side by side how does the Revo compare to the regular preon? Smaller? Brighter? I like the knurling on the head, the Preon is too smooth.

I should have asked this as well.
So does the full output at 100% step down fade over 30 seconds, 5 seconds, in a bump and after how long at 100% output, 1 minute at 100% then fade down or bump down or ?

So, with the introduction of this new light I have to ask: how does this compare to the ITP/Maratac? They are about the same size, have very similar outputs (1.5 lumens, 18/19.5 lumens, 80 lumens), and both are available in a stainless steel version. The ITP is also available in titanium and it's still cheaper than the aluminum P-ReVO. The ITP/Maratac is half the price of the equivalent P-ReVO. The ITP/Maratac has a clip, though, honestly, I would not use it on a light this small, but the P-ReVO has a much better keyring attachment system. The only thing stopping me from getting an ITP/Maratac in stainless or titanium is that they start on medium then goes to low. I want it to start on low, first.
As far as why they came out with this light, I believe it's because people have asked for a MiNi AAA. This light is pretty much just that: a MiNi AAA but it loses the beacon-low setting. That's something I've never used and probably won't miss. They could have reduced the power output to the emitter slightly and used an XP-G instead but I think the resulting beam would have been a total flood had they done that. They probably decided to go for throw over an extra few minutes of run time by going with the XP-E.
Now, I'm left wondering if they're coming out with a MiNi ReVO AA and/or MiNi ReVO 123 next? Make either or both of those lights with an XP-G and I'll be buying one of each.
While I'm hesitant to get another 4sevens light right now, this might actually be what I was kind of hoping for when I got the Quark Mini AA. I have an LD01 on my car keys and so far nothing has managed to bump that off keychain duty but this looks interesting.
10440? I know it says 1.5v, but is that just a recommendation or defacto?
Ah, I knew someone would ask this question before I did!
Though my guess is that 10440 would not make a difference because it is current regulated, so it would just mean you get the same brightness with possibly lower runtime because the capacity of the 10440 cell is lower?

I ordered the SS version today. I would like to know the dimensions of the hole because of the possibility of carrying the thing at the neckchain. Thank you.

Is the head male or female?
Any hope for a clip? One of the biggest uses for my ld01 SS is to clip it to the brim of my hat for an instant headlamp. (seriously I do this way more than I ever thought I would.)
Or will an LD01 clip fit on the ReVo? (the specs on the revo say .5" Diameter while the ld01 is spec'd at 0.6")
If the ld01 clip works, or if you are going to sell a clip accessory, then I'm definitly in for a pair to replace my ld01's
(sorry for the double post, this was previously posted in the "Exclusive Offers and our Newsletter" thread, before I noticed ReVO thread)
Why didn't the head get knurled?that's what I like about my E01
For a stainless version - now anticipating the arrival to learn if it has met it's design objectives & hype!
I'm hoping that compared to the QMini AA I have there's less slop in the threads so the control is more predictable. One thing my LD01 is great about is that changing modes one handed is easy and predictable but changing the modes on my QMini one handed means you never know how many times it's going to flicker in and out of different modes as you tighten and loosen it.
Interesting - it would also be nice to see a side-by-side comparison with the CR2 MiNi, which is currently my tiny pocket-carry light of choice. The Prevo is MUCH smaller in diameter than the EO1. It's about 10% less.
Anyone know the expected ship date?

One arrived here today... I like it, I'm off to find my Preon I for some side-by-side time. She'll tail stand, is doing exactly that on the coffee table right now, but not, no, never on a boat or So California.. well, I lived in Simi Valley when Rocketdyne was testing Thor, Delta and Atlas and there were occasional earth quakes... other parts of So Cal Mileage May Vary.
David, how about a neutral tint ReVo?
(Come on, you KNEW somebody would bring it up sooner or later)
And just for the record, I'm not all talk. I own an XP-E Quark AA, XP-G Quark AA^2, XP-E Quark MiNi AA, and Preon 1/2, all four are neutral tint.
