Matt7337 : 3.7V is the nominal / average voltage. The voltage of a battery is a fundamental characteristic of a battery, which is determined by the chemical reactions in the battery, the concentrations of the battery components, and the polarization of the battery. The voltage calculated from equilibrium conditions is typically known as the nominal battery voltage. shadowjk is right about the MPV.

Hi AW,

I've tried protected 2600 & 3000 mAh cells from other brand on my JetBeam RRT3 and got problems inserting the battery holder into the tube for they seem to be a little bit too fat.
I am not sure if I will encounter the same issue to use AW 18650 2600mAh cells.

Any idea?

One more question before I make my order: can I charge an AW IMR 18650 alongside an AW P18650 (2600mAH) in my Cytac dual bay charger that I just got from 4Sevens? If yes, any provisos, such as them needing to be at similar levels to do it?

If the Cytac has two independent charging channels, the answer is yes. No need for the batteries to be at similar levels or capacity rating or size class.
