Default Re: FS: Solar Powered & USB Chargers -2 panels added

Please refer to post 853 for details of my order. While waiting for my Panel I bought two similar Batteryboxes from Fasttech.com , just couldnt wait for these. They are indeed very practical.
I have no need for more batteryboxes at the moment, so I wonder if it is possible to switch out the 2 Batteryboxes I ordered (2 x $15 =$30) for an extra 1100mAh Panel with 3 tip(Ligtning/40pin/Micro-USB) = $59 + one sleave for it $10 + one extra 3 Tip Lead($6.99).
Nice if the 1100mAh Panel could feature a white USB socket for Apple device charging, and a black one for everything else(Hope for the same on the 1.5A Tri Folder)
The Price difference should be $46.Can I just PP you this amount? Possible to put my name on the sleeve for the 1100mah as well?(like we agreed on the Tri-Folder)
Last Question: If I try to hook my Galaxy S3 to the "Apple USB-Port", the one with the Resistor, will it be able to charge adequately? Is it only the other way around that doesnt work?

All solar panels will perform much worse on cloudy days. My 1000mA Cottonpickers panel still works but at a greatly reduced output.
One bright point though is that even on dull days, David's chargers will still be putting whatever trickle they can get into a Li-Ion cell.

Other chargers or devices (such as my Eneloop USB charger for instance) may not.

    Hope this helps.

tinf: Yes, thats no problem - Nice idea again on the white port for the apple socket - I need to get that white reel back in the 3D printer !! I'm not sure how the galaxy will react. If you have an apple charger at home, try plugging it in and see what happens. I find some Android stuff is quite happy with the apple ports, while some others are not.

Trevtrain is spot on with cloudy days - all solar panels operate at 10% of their rated capacity or less on a cloudy day - but with my li-ion chargers they do keep charging. Its one reason why the larger panels are good.

I also changed the original order in post 853, to reflect these changes, so it will be easier for you to rememember everything.
I still havent got the Possibility of a Quad 1.5A Panel quiet out of my head.
If a quad Folder could be wired with only 3 Panels in Series for one 15V/1.5 A Output it could be the lead acid Port. (Is it possible to wire it to make use of the 4.Panel in some way, for increased amperage without increasing Voltage?)
Add to that a dual/dual Parallell wiring for 2 Additional 5V/3A USB Ports (One Apple and one "normal").We dont have much sun here in Norway, so it will give a good charge even on a cloudy day.

This will probably make the wiring quite complicated, and I dont now if its doable. The Folder must be able to fold together with all the wires in there as well.
If this sounds doable, and your cloth is big enough to accomodate 4 x 1.5 A Panels ,I will seriosly consider upgrading it. Please let me know when you get the Panels in, and BEFORE you cut the cloth.
    Thanks!
