I bought some XP-G LEDs from nailbender and upon receiving the LEDs he sent me one board extra instead of the LED. He immediately shipped another LED out which was chewed up by the stupid USPS sorter! We exchanged some more PMs and he then sent me out another LED free of charge for something that was not his fault.

Now that's 1st class service, and fast!

Dave is one of the most thorough and friendly members on CPF, and his work needs to be commended, hence my writing of this cheer. I have been in communication with Dave on and off for months, and he has completed a total of 2 projects for me (third one in the works). His craftsmanship and quality of work speaks for itself; and it is hard to believe that his product stems from a one man operation, and is completely designed and created by himself. Dave has always offered me sound advice and help planning drop ins (amp draw, tints, modes, optics etc), even if he knew I was just inquiring about options and had no intent to buy a particular module at the time.
Let it be known that I trust Dave's product in my line of work, and that alone should be worth something.
I don't owe Dave anything, and I'm writing this is solely because I feel that he is supplying TOP notch products, and cutting edge LED technology at a VERY, VERY fair price.
Thanks Dave, I look forward to many more of your great tools.

Look, I know that he's received well-deserved cheers in the past but I just couldn't let this one pass without proper recognition:

Dave fixed something for me that was absolutely not his fault for breaking. (Totally MY fault.) As a matter of fact, he offered to fix it without me asking him to and this is the topper: he did it for free.

Not only do I like the stuff he creates but they are reasonably priced to boot! Then, on top of this, his customer service is amazing.

Dave, I hope you don't get flooded with requests for fixing stuff that people (like me) broke but I couldn't let this go unnoticed.

I recently purchased one of Nailbender's D36 SST50 drop-ins. It arrived quickly and is very bright.

I was using a host made up of parts from several different lights and it just wasn't working well. Nailbender took the time to answer my messages and make some suggestions to fix the problem. Please understand that the problem was in no way caused by Nailbender's work but with his help, my mutt of a light is now working perfectly!

Nailbender makes a great product and seems to be a nice guy to boot!

I have several drops done by him and I love them. He has taken a lot of time helping me with issues and enlightening me on things also. He's also modded a couple of my lights for me which turned out just amazing. And for customized work, his prices sure seem to be hard to beat for what he does. Highly recommend him!

Thanks to Nailbender for taking the time to answer a lot of questions that probably made him roll his eyes. He offers great communication, prompt service, and sage advice from lessons learned, and is generally a great asset to the CPF community. There are lots of commercial dropins available, but if you want to be able to customize your driver levels, take your pick of LED's and have it fit in your form factor, Dave is the man. Folks around here already know all of this, it's newbies like me can take pleasure at being happily surprised. Thanks again!

Amen, the Sst-50 he made me has already saved me once. During a board and secure I ran into one of the people that broke in, the guy dropped an old tree cutter saw blade, shielded his eyes and left.

I was interested in getting a high CRI light for outdoors. I decided on a Nichia and thought I'd try a Nailbender drop in. I had a bunch of questions and Dave answered them quickly (like multiple questions in a day). We settled on a host and drop in and he shipped it out.

I received it fast, 2 or 3 days. The build quality is top notch and the color rendition is beautiful. If you are thinking about a P60 drop in, you can't go wrong with these Nailbenders. Good job Dave and thanks for the quality service.
