Cheers to Terralux, the real no-hassle deal

My Terralux TLE-5ex died about 2 weeks ago after several years of decent service in a minimag. This was an old one with the hexagon-shaped LED. I emailed Terralux, told them I'd had it for several years, and I didn't know what the warranty period was. They sent me a new Cree module by Priority Mail for free, no questions asked. On the package it says "1-year warranty".

Last year, same thing happened on a different minimag, again after several years of use. They sent me a new one then, too, no questions asked.

This is as good as it gets, guys.

Same thing happened with my drop-in from Terralux. After a couple of emails they offered me a replacement. After 20 years in a drawer I loved that little minimag all over again with that drop-in! Cheers to Terralux!! ...I'll be mailing the form this weekend...hope I can find the proof of purchase.
