SSC High-CRI S42180-T1SS Group Buy

Batch 3: All LED's shipped out as of 09-01-2010!

OK. After some emails back and forth from my supplier, I've learned that both the T1STx bin and the T2SS bin are available. Please indicate which you would like when you post.

I can get SSC High-CRI S42180-T2SS and S42180-T1ST bin LED's in minimum orders of 100 total, min of 35 each kind.
These LED's have a CRI of 93
T1ST color temp is 4325K
T2SS color temp is 3985K
The T2SS emitters are about 10 lumens brighter than the T1ST emitters.
The T1ST emitters are about 350K higher color temp than the T2SS emitters.

The price on the LED's is $6 each.

Shipping will be $5 CONUS, $10 Canada/Mexico, or $13 International. The price will be the same regardless of the number of LED's purchased. I am willing to ship via Fedex or UPS, at a higher cost, if desired. I will not ship First Class, so please don't ask. All orders ship with Delivery Confirmation. Insurance will not be available, unless you order more than $100 worth of LED's, and then only by request.

This group buy will be pre-pay, as I don't have an extra $600+ sitting around to pay for them up front. Once you're on the list, send me a PM with your Paypal address, so I can send you an invoice. I will send the invoices when there is enough demand for an order.

Both Viper715 and I have received lights modded by Gunga with this particular emitter recently and one thing we agree on; this is one beautiful emitter, if you like white! Smooth too, but then it's an SSC, so what else would you expect!

I can get W42180-U (SW0) for $3.50 each, is there a reason you all want the S42180? My minimum is 25 units at this price.
True the CRI is higher for the S, but the W are much brighter (100 lumens v.s. 61) S has CCT of 4000K while W is 6300K
Personally I'll take a little bluer light if I can get more of it!

Don't want to mess up your deal Tekno_Cowboy, but I thought you might be interested in an alternative.

Most of the people are interested in these as an alternative to those SW0 U-bins. These are T1 bin (70-80 lumen), as opposed to the S2 bin (60-70 lumen) commonly available. They have a 93 CRI vs the 70 CRI of the SW0 tint. There are a bunch of reasons, but listing them would muddle the thread. If you check out the sales link in my sigline, you'll find links to several threads on the subject. If you have more questions, please PM me or post in one of the relevent threads.
