I need to sell a brand new with tags Filson Guide Sweater. This is the real guide sweater that is made in the USA with finest the Merino wool and is dark blue. It is a medium but is more like a true medium large. The sleeves will work with up to a 34/35 sleeve length. These sell for $199.00 and are worth every penny. I think these are the nicest and best made sweaters you can buy at any price. I will sell this brand new one for $135.00 plus the shipping of your choice (can ship in a flat rate box as it is quite heavy). I can take paypal if you will pay the fees otherwise a money order will be fine. Here is what the retailers say about it:"Versatile, heavyweight warmth and protection. The warmth and protection of Filson's heaviest worsted 100% virgin Merino wool for a lifetime of comfort. Filson's heavyweight sweaters are knit using twice as much wool as you'd expect in sweaters of this type. Using only 100% Merino wool from hardy sheep renowned for long, fine wool that's soft yet strong. Those strong wool fibers are carded and combed in parallel fashion, then twisted hard during spinning to create worsted yarns of even more strength and smoothness. Finally, they knit those yarns very tightly for a firm finish that wears extremely well. Naturally warm, naturally water repellent, this finish is not only pleasing to the touch but actually enhances the natural water repellent properties of the wool fibers. Whether worn as an outer garment or inner layer, Filson's worsted 100% virgin Merino wool sweaters will exceed your expectations for performance and longevity. They will last a lifetime and, we believe, may be handed down to future generations. You'll be surprised at the weight and ruggedness of this very high-quality sweater. The specially milled wool also absorbs as much as 30% of its weight without becoming damp or clammy, allowing our Guide Sweater to retain body heat even when very wet. Naturally water repellent, it is the ideal garment for cold rainy weather.
I'm admiring it a lot and was very tempted but noticed the cleaning instructions and am afraid I'm just not organized enough to get it dry cleaned, plus the dry cleaning process always makes me cringe . What happens if it gets wet (i.e. cold water machine wash on gentle cycle, then air dry)? Is it an issue with the color running, or something else?
