I'll take it. (the M2 LED Centurion)

Please email 300braveheart@gmail.com with PayPal info, I'll reply with address in Iowa. I'm assuming its lumen output is about the same as a regular M4, but maybe not as far of a thrower. I am surprised the runtime is 3X longer than for a usual M2, but I guess that just means the BOG LED is really efficient...

    Thanks.

    Hi Matthew,

I want to make sure you understand what you're buying before we go any further.

A stock M2 is an incandescent light, putting out either 65 or 120 lumens, and running for 60 or 20 minutes on 2x primary cells. Those are Surefire's ratings.

The light I'm selling has an LED drop-in instead of an incandescent lamp assembly. It's rated at 230 lumens for 3+ hours of regulated run. It uses essentially the same sized (~26mm) reflector as the incandescent lamps, but the emitter is much brighter and whiter.

The M4 is an incandescent light which produces 225 or more lumens, and uses a much much larger and deeper reflector. Comparing it's output, in any way, to a 26mm reflector light is an apples-to-oranges comparison.

If you buy this light, please be aware it is not, in any way, comparable in output to an M4.

I appreciate your concern, thanks. My EDC is a Surefire Outdoorsman's body and with some LED drop-in. 120ish lumens, I think. Unfortunately the tailcap was recently twisted on permanent "on" inside my luggage and something discharged all over the reflector (inside) so the light discharge is nothing. But I wanted a new light anyway and the Q5, from what I've read, seems like a great choice.

I understand and still want to buy your M2.

    Donn,

Received the 3P today. It was packaged extremely well and arrived in perfect shape. I am just crazy about the tiny 3P's form and I placed a 1-S Dereelight 3.7v drop-in along with an AW 3.7 vt cell in it and it's now a little screamer! Thanks for always delivering exactly what you say you are going to deliver. Good stuff..

    Thanks,

    Gary

Ah..glad to hear it's there and you like it.

It's one of the best hosts, in my opinion. One of my favorite users is a 3P with a BOG Q5 running on an RCR123, and wearing a Mr. Bulk clip.

Excellent light in a small package.

    Enjoy it!
