Nice upgrades and the shorter memory and removable clip remove the last real obstacles I had to this light.

I remain hopeful that the same improvements will be made to the AA Connexxtion light - which really would be great!

Looking forward to pics, only 1 issue seems to have been over looked... It doesnt mention the finish being updated. Please tell me it is type 3 now. The finish on the old light was quite weak in comparison with my other LP lights.

This light has soo much potential. The V1 is my loaner light right now. I would snatch another in a heartbeat with the V2 features if the coat would just be Type III even better if there were an olive version.. Its just that in the light usage the V1 has seen there is already a lot of wear. Behind the clip where it meets the body it just looks like it was paint that rubbed off. For the 50$ price point it really should be Type III imo.

I wonder if that's in the works too .... I noticed that lighthound has just dropped the price of the original Connexion and put it in their clearout/specials section.

At that price, I couldn't resist picking one up. I won't have time to do a full review, but I plan to add it to a new 1AA round-up thread in the Fall.

    Hi Scarbear,

The apperance is the same as we have changed the tail's construction and the circuit's scheme.

okay, but i thought the clip and clicky were replaceable. How does it work?

in my present incendio the clip will hold through the pressed stainless ring. is the ring now screwed on?

    regards Olaf

The stainless ring is now screwed in. Overall appearance of the light is almost ths same as it was before. Very minor/subtle changes. Size has not changed.

I will have an update to my review tonight with details and hopefully some pix of the V2 IncenDio!

The review of Lumapower IncenDio V2 is released. I will be adding photos soon, but really, it looks really similar to V1. Functional improvements are very noticeable and appreciated however.

    Hi Scarbear,

The new IncenDio (V2) with the removable back ring (retainer type) this make it possible to replace rubber back button and also the switch.

    Hi gunga,

Thank you for nice reviews of the new IncenDio V2.

    Best regards,

    Hi Ricky,

sorry, but I can't find the new Incendio V2 on your website.

If I made an order, should I get the new version V2?

    Greetings
    Dirk

    Ricky:

Are the two grooves/slots on the IncenDio body for tritium installation? If so, what size vials are recommended?

    Hi bltkmt,

Is is for gripping purpose, and I don't know what is "tritium installation".
