Hopefully these won't be stupid questions, but I'm a little nervous about using rechargeable li-ion batteries given some of the reading I've done.

I have a JetBeam III M that can take an 18650 and an ITP C7 that can take a 14500.

Will this charger handle mixed cell sizes at the same time? Also, can it just charge one cell at a time? Any special concerns or cautions about doing this?

I did see the pics on the first page showing these charging configurations, so I'm assuming that it will work ok?

Thanks for your patience if these questions have already been answered.

    bikeguy,

The charger has two independent charging channels and will charge two cells separately. Yes to all. Simply remove the batteries from the charger as soon as the LED turns green as a safe precaution.

    AW,

Can you recommend a charger that can charger 2 26500 IMR cells at the same time? I am looking for a solution that does not require modifying an existing charger!

None than I know of. You 'll have to rig up something even when using a hobby charger.

    AW,

    Just like to check

    1. 18650-29 can be used with Fenix TK35
    2. Any USB charger to charge 18650-29?

    mryen,

The P18650-29 will work in the TK35. I believe member cottonpickers is selling a USB charger with display here in CPFMP.

Hey, can you tell me if this charger is ok with the following batteries? I am looking at them for a headlamp and want a little more runtime than the AW's lower capacity would provide.

    Tenergy LiFePO4 RCR123A, Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery, 3.0V, 750 mAh

    Thanks Matt

No, you can't use a 3.7V charger for LiFePO4 3.0V cells. BTW, there is no such thing as a 750mAH LiFePO4 R123. The capacity of 750 is way over inflated.

    Hi AW

How do you feel about using three of your 18650-2200 cells (of which I have about 12 I think) in series - as in the TrustFire X6?

    Thanks for advice.

Given the caution needed with Li-ions, I always feel happier about using your gear since you are always present on these boards.

So I have a Fenix TK30, TK35, LD05 and soon to arrive via USPS the new TK70. So that's a total of 4 - 18650's, 2 - AAA, and 4 - D's. So far I have run the cheaper NiMH for 18650's but am interested in Lithium Ion and all of my internet research leads me to AW. I was hoping you could set me up with as much stuff off the list as you have available and maybe some input for the items you don't handle.
    Thank You!!!!

    Wahandyman,

You can use the AW 18650 ( 2200/2600/2900 ) in the TK30 and TK35. The LD05 can only run on AAAs ( alkaline or NiMH ). TK70 on D cells ( alkaline or NiMH ) - No LiIon for them .

    AW
