Default SOLD: Citizen Mission Antarctica Watch

Up for sale is an excellent condition Citizen Mission Antarctica watch. This is a very rare model as they only made 1000 in each dial color (blue and black). Mine is a blue model although you can't tell that in the first few pics because of my poor white balance.

    Features:
    -GMT hand
    -one piece titanium construction
    -nicely knurled and signed crown
    -Eco drive solar powerd
-excellent anti shock and anti magnetic properties
    -fabulous bluish green lume
    -WR to 20bar
    -sapphire crystal

Here is someone else's website with more info:

    http://www.bobthayerjr.com/wb5apd/ma.html

Also included with the watch are the original metal box, instruction manual, extra links, and the original kevlar strap.

    Pictures:

This wasn't a very good shot as it was daylight and done under my bed.

edit: I wasn't satisfied with that one so now that its dark, I made a new one. Unfortunately, my cheap ultra portable camera isn't sensitive enough to fully read Mission Antarctica, as lit by its own lume.

Sorry about the white balance above so I took another pic on the window sill that should better show the beautiful blue dial.

As mentioned above, the watch is used but in excellent condition. That means that if you look, you can find small flaws such as scuffs and faint scratches. However, I can't imagine someone being displeased with it.

SOLD $440 shipped in CONUS. I will consider shipping elsewhere on a case by case basis and it may incur additional costs. Please contact me with any questions, comments, or requests for more pictures. I prefer Paypal for payment. Thanks.

Could you post again the first picture with a good natural light?
I'd like to see how the blue dial appears on the watch... the last pic would be ok, but I want to see the entire watch.

    Has the glass any scratch?
    Is the battery still good?

    Thanks for the attention.

Alright, I'll see if I can take another picture. The sapphire is perfect. I don't think I've ever seen scratched sapphire. I had problems with the battery until I gave it a real good charge on a window sill and reset the time. Its fine now.

The battery on these watches are solar charged, you shouldn't ever have to worry about replacing the battery.I think they say they will have power for a few months with out any light at all.

I know that, but my doubt was about the life of this kind of battery.

Veleno, I've had a similar watch for going on 10 years and I've not had to have it serviced even once. The battery is still going strong and is reportedly rated for a life of something like 20 years.
